About
ROAM is a 2009 Nautitech 47 Owners Version that has been methodically updated from the masthead to the waterline resulting in a turn-key offshore catamaran. Shehas the soul of a proven bluewater design and the systems reliability of a boat half her age.US Duty Paid!
The Nautitech 47 remains one of the most respected performance cruising catamarans of her era. With a limited production run of roughly 38 hulls, she was designed for sailors who wanted real speed without surrendering livability. Her raised dual helm stations deliver an immersive connection to wind and water that flybridge designs simply cannot replicate, while the absence of a flybridge allows for a taller, more powerful sailplan set lower for stability. Below decks, the 47s fit and finishsolid woodwork, a U-shaped galley, and a panoramic salon bathed in natural lightstands in sharp contrast to charter oriented interiors of many newer production cats.
In her rare Owners Version configuration, ROAM offers three spacious cabins and three heads, with a master suite to port and a dedicated workshop and storage space that keeps the boat organized for extended cruising. The salon seats eight at a foldable dining table, and a proper nav station doubles as a comfortable office. On deck, teak flooring runs through the cockpit and helm areas, Flexiteek covers the transoms, and full Sunbrella curtains enclose the cockpit for shade and weather protection. A 2023 Achilles Hypalon RIB with a 2024 Suzuki 20hp outboard rounds out the package.

Andrew Hodgdon at The Multihull Company was instrumental in our recent boat purchase. Andrew’s experience with performance catamarans was a key reason why we were comfortable and his straightforward communication style was very much appreciated when so much is at stake. We had a very fast viewing to close timeline on the other side of the country and Andrew always took our calls and responded quickly even with time differences which mattered a lot. We’re very happy with the outcome and Andrew played a crucial role.
I chose Zee (Zvonimir Kalinic) after posting an ad for a broker on Yacht Sales from about 15 other brokers because he showed professionalism and care right away compared to the others. Most of the brokers never intended to show people my boat but yet somehow expected to collect commission. Zee met me in Novigrad and spent 3 hours taking photos and drone footage and throughout the listing period was communicating continuously and advising me about any offers that came through. His service was at a high standard that I was extremely happy with and felt comfortable at all times especially since I’m in Sydney and my boat is in Montenegro. I can’t recommend Zee highly enough to anyone looking to sell their boat with peace of mind.
The brokerage team has been amazing. They helped me find the right catamaran for our family of four, with enough space for extended family and friends to stay with us anytime. The broker really helped me narrow down what I needed. I started with a long list and eventually narrowed it down to something that was the right fit and price for me.
