Classic lovers welcome!
This Herreshoff 58 ketch was built in 1962 by Astilleros Mallorca (Mallorca, Spain) with drawings from 1931. The yacht completed a circumnavigation and a half over several decades with its original owner and his family. She was totally refitted by Charpentiers Reunis Mditerrannee at La Ciotat over a period of three years from 2011 and re-launched in April 2014.
In 2013 the wood above the waterline, Oregon pine, and below the waterline, Iroko planking, was replaced as well as the oak wood for the frame steam and the Teak for the deck. The deck is totally new as well as the superstructure.
Two new SOLE 42 HP diesel engines, stainless steel fuel and water tanks were installed in 2014 followed by all new electronics, batteries and safety equipment. The chainplates and steel reinforcements were replaced by stainless steel.
Main mast and mizzen mast are original as are all the bronze winches.
The interior has been progressively outfitted since 2014 and is now completed. The salon, two pilot berths, chart table and galley furniture are in place. The salon has new cushions and pilot berths have new matresses. The master stateroom forward (queen double to port and single bunk to starboard with new mattresses) and bathroom with large shower and sink. A separate head is to starboard.
The main electrical switchboard and wiring were completed in 2017. All plumbing is operational and includes fresh water pump, hot water heater, hot/cold taps at galley sink, bathroom sink, bathroom shower and exterior deck shower. The yacht is equipped with grey and black water holding tanks.
The boat has successfully competed on the Mediterranean classic circuit over the last 5 seasons with good success. She is a very lively yacht and a certain head-turner at the dock with her elegant lines and cambered rigs.
The yacht completed a small refit and servicing in June 2021 for over 60K Euros: complete maintenance and respray of topsides, full engine and shaft maintenance, new Max Props, new bottom paint, topsides varnish.

A sale well handled. No inflated expectations and an honest opinion throughout. Highly recommended.
Absolutely THE ONLY company to use for buying or selling a catamaran! Our Broker Andrew Hodgdon, was excellent to work with, an experienced catamaran captain with extensive knowledge of sailing catamarans, the ins and outs of the construction, performance, systems, everything involved and life on board catamarans. All of which is invaluable in looking for the right boat for someone to buy or helping market your boat when selling. The Multihull Company is so connected in the catamaran world and used by so many catamaran sailors and searchers that we had an interested buyer before our boat was even listed and a completed sale 60 days after her first showing!!! Thanks Andrew and all of the Multihull team who worked diligently to make it happen so smoothly!
We had a great experience working with Andrew! He was extremely knowledgeable and listened to our needs of what we wanted our next boat to be. He responded quickly to all of our requests and got us to the finish line. Working with Multihull was seamless and we highly recommend using Andrew and Multihull.
Chris Block was our broker. He was great. He went above and beyond what we thought we needed. His expertise helped us get our dream boat for way less than expected. I will use TMC and Chris Block in the future. Definitely recommend.
Chris Rundlett in Grenada was my buyers broker for a catamaran I purchased in Tortola.
The buying process was problematic with numerous mechanical issues needing attention. Throughout the process he was fantastic. I would highly recommend him if you’re looking to buy a boat in the Caribbean.
