2016 Lagoon 450 F - 3 Cabin Owner's Version - Exceptional Condition and Ready to Cruise!

**PENDING/UNDER CONTRACT**

This vessel is currently under contract, but we are actively accepting backup offers! Please reach out to be placed in the top backup position should this deal not close for any reason.

Kindred Soul is the cleanest 450F we’ve seen.

From the immaculate engine rooms to the clean, crack-free gel coat and excellent condition of cabinetry and joinery, she reflects both light use and meticulous ownership.  The current owner has invested heavily in updating her systems and making the vessel turn-key, with a long list of updates in 2025.

As a three-cabin Owner’s Version, the starboard hull is dedicated to a private suite with a walk-in shower, dedicated desk/office space, and a huge increase in storage over the 4-cabin charter models. In 2025, the owner added custom Eisenglass and bug enclosures for the cockpit and flybridge. This setup creates a protected living area that remains comfortable during rain or heavy winds, effectively doubling the usable square footage while at anchor or underway.

Currently cruising the USVI, Kindred Soul is positioned for an efficient, tax-free handover to new owners. With the recent haul out in late 2025 for bottom paint and sail drive seals, there is no deferred maintenance to address. She is ready to continue cruising the Eastern Caribbean today.

Highlighted Features & Upgrades:

  • Flybridge w/ Full Enclosure: The flybridge acts as a true second living room, upgraded in 2025 with a full Eisenglass and bug screen enclosure that wraps the starboard stairwell. This creates a protected weather envelope so you can move between the helm and cockpit safely and dryly during night watches. Combined with a walkable factory hardtop, it makes routine mainsail management a highly secure task.

  • Massive Owner's Suite: The Owner's Version layout transforms the entire starboard hull into a private sanctuary featuring an island queen berth, a dedicated midships office, and a large walk-in shower. By dedicating an entire hull to the owners, you gain a massive increase in full-height hanging lockers and deep cabinetry over the 4-cabin models, providing the storage necessary to make long-term living aboard effortless and organized.

  • Excellent Condition: It is rare to find a 2016 hull that shows this little wear, showing much more like a 5 year old vessel. The gel coat is free of the stress cracks often found in high-load areas, the deck non-skid remains sharp, and the engine rooms are immaculate, dry, and free of oil or salt spray. She has been hauled, painted, and had her sail drive seals serviced every season, reflecting a standard of preventative maintenance that offers total peace of mind offshore.

  • 2024 12' Gala Center Console Tender: Cruisers often underestimate the importance of a capable tender, but this 12-foot Gala center console with a 40HP Yamaha and dedicated chartplotter functions more like a primary vehicle. Supported by professionally reinforced davits to safely manage the increased weight, this setup planes easily with a full crew and fundamentally expands your range for heavy provisioning or distant reef explorations.

EXTENDED DESCRIPTION

Exterior & Deck

The Lagoon 450F offers a level of versatility and space that usually requires moving into the 50-foot category. While often compared to 44 or 45-foot competitors, the 450 is actually 45 feet 10 inches long and nearly 1.5 feet wider than most in its class. This extra beam creates a stable platform at sea and translates into massive volume in the cockpit and salon.  The 4.3-foot draft remains one of the best features for this size range, allowing you to access shallow Bahamas anchorages that keep deeper draft catamarans further offshore.

Salon & Galley

The salon and galley flow seamlessly into the cockpit, creating the open-concept living area that made the 450 a benchmark for cruising design. The interior joinery and cabinetry remain in excellent condition, showing the care of a private owner rather than the wear of a high-traffic rental. The galley is equipped for real living with a new 2025 Panasonic convection, microwave, and air fryer oven. For climate control and privacy, the salon windows have been treated with a high-grade ceramic tint. Whether you are prepping a meal at anchor or navigating from the internal station, the 360-degree visibility and natural light make the salon the heart of the home.

Starboard Hull (Owner’s Suite)

This is the true 3-cabin Owner’s Version, which replaces the standard two-cabin arrangement in the starboard hull with one continuous private retreat. It features a queen island berth aft and a dedicated desk and office area midships. The storage capacity is significantly higher than 4-cabin models, with full-height hanging lockers and deep cabinets that allow for organized long-term living. The forward section of the hull is dedicated to a large bathroom with a walk-in shower and a spacious vanity. Having an entire hull to yourself changes the lifestyle on board, providing a quiet sanctuary removed from the rest of the crew.

Port Hull & Guest Cabins

The port hull is configured with two private guest cabins, each featuring queen berths and their own en-suite heads. The aft cabin offers excellent ventilation and light through large hull ports, while the forward cabin provides a comfortable retreat for guests or kids. These spaces have been maintained to the same high standard as the rest of the interior, with 10-inch memory foam mattresses and custom bedding added in 2025. The layout ensures everyone on board has their own private space while maintaining a shared sense of openness in the common areas.

Engines & Mechanical

The engine rooms on Kindred Soul are pristine and reflect a history of proactive maintenance. Both Yanmar engines (3,202 / 3,102 hours) are dry and free of corrosion. The SD60 sail drives were pulled and serviced with new seals and paint during the November 2025 haul-out. While the Onan generator shows 12,701 hours, it has been a reliable workhorse for the vessel’s systems and gets consistent daily use for air conditioning and is maintained on a rigid schedule, so it operates more reliably than infrequently used gensets.

Electrical & Technical Systems

This is a US-spec vessel (240V 50A / 120V 60hz) designed for ease of use in American and Caribbean waters. The house bank was upgraded in 2025 with five Lifeline 210AH AGM batteries, providing reliable capacity for off-grid stays. The system is supported by 900 watts of solar on a gantry mounted above the davits system, which could easily be retrofitted for ~2kw of solar panels by re-orienting 4 panels to run fore-and-aft on the gantry instead of the current set up of 3 panels running athwartship. Connectivity is handled by a new Starlink Gen 3 system, and navigation is handled by a full B&G system, including Zeus 3 12” plotters at helm and nav station, Halo Radar, and Triton instruments. All systems, including the four Cruiseair Air Conditioners and the high-output 2025 Rainman 40gph watermaker, are ready for the upcoming season.

Tender & Davits

The tender setup was a major focus of the 2025 refit. It features a new 12-foot Gala center-console RIB paired with a 40HP Yamaha outboard. This package includes its own chart recorder and Bluetooth stereo, making it a highly capable vehicle for long-range exploration. To handle the increased weight and performance of this setup, the davit system was professionally reinforced. This integrated system allows you to plane easily with a full crew and gear, ensuring you can navigate through chop and cover distance safely.

Vessel History & Documentation

Kindred Soul has a transparent history that supports her current condition. Launched in 2016, she was in Tortola during Hurricane Irma, where she sustained only light cosmetic damage. There was no water intrusion, and the rig and structural grid remained intact. Professional repairs were completed immediately, and all surveys and invoices from that period are available for review. Since 2022, she has been privately owned and has undergone a massive refit to prepare her for the next chapter of international cruising.

We take pride in our happy customers

Chuck at The Multihull Company is the real deal.
He helped us find our Lagoon 40 after genuinely listening to what we needed, not just what he had to sell. He let us visit the boat multiple times, answered every question honestly, and helped us make a confident decision on a major purchase.
What impressed us most was the post-sale support. Once the paperwork was signed, Chuck was still picking up the phone, offering referrals, and helping us work through the early stages of liveaboard life. That kind of follow-through is rare.
If you are looking for a multihull and want someone who knows the boats and actually cares about the outcome, Chuck is the person to call.

— Richard Chandler

We just purchased a 2025 Nautitech 44 Open with The Multihull Company. The process of getting here has been great, and we could not have asked for a better agent. We worked with Conor, whom we met at the 2025 Cannes Boat Show. We started our search for a cruising catamaran in Florida at the beginning of the year. We spent a couple of months looking at different boats/models within our price range and quickly narrowed it down to what really mattered to us, in part thanks to the wealth of knowledge and expertise our broker provided. When we found a perfect match in Montenegro, Conor and The Multihull Company did not hesitate to continue supporting us and to lead the efforts from start to finish with great care and transparency. Communication and support have been outstanding throughout this entire process. Conor, in particular, showed great compassion and care, going above and beyond to ensure that no stone was left unturned and that we would be able to safely and happily sail off into our big adventure.

— Jason Nunn

A sale well handled. No inflated expectations and an honest opinion throughout. Highly recommended.

— Nicholas Laing

Absolutely THE ONLY company to use for buying or selling a catamaran! Our Broker Andrew Hodgdon, was excellent to work with, an experienced catamaran captain with extensive knowledge of sailing catamarans, the ins and outs of the construction, performance, systems, everything involved and life on board catamarans. All of which is invaluable in looking for the right boat for someone to buy or helping market your boat when selling. The Multihull Company is so connected in the catamaran world and used by so many catamaran sailors and searchers that we had an interested buyer before our boat was even listed and a completed sale 60 days after her first showing!!! Thanks Andrew and all of the Multihull team who worked diligently to make it happen so smoothly!

— Linda W.

We had a great experience working with Andrew! He was extremely knowledgeable and listened to our needs of what we wanted our next boat to be. He responded quickly to all of our requests and got us to the finish line. Working with Multihull was seamless and we highly recommend using Andrew and Multihull.
