About

If you are in the market for a well built cruising catamaran, this is it.

Storyteller, a Manta 42 Mk IV,ย  was built in the USA.ย  She is designed to travel, and to get you there comfortably and safely.ย  Her build is well thought out, and is described in detail below.ย  Just a few highlights of that build are that her hull, below the waterline, is solid GRP construction with vinylester resin.ย  Kevlar is additionally incorporated into the bow and keel areas for strength and rigidity.ย  In the areas of thru-hulls, chainplates, and deck hardware, the construction is solid GRP.ย  The hull above the waterline is cored with Divinycell while subsoles and bulkheads are cored with Nida-Core.ย  These are expensive materials that don't allow moisture penetration and add to the life and continued safety of this design.

In other words, she protects you....and your investment.

Storyteller is a cruising veteran, and her strong point is that she is set up for anchoring out for long periods of time.ย  She boasts 3, 370W solar panels that produce enough electricity to allow day to day electrical use including frig and freezer, plus using the watermaker ....without having to use the generator.ย  She is self sufficient, and how lovely is that?

Storyteller has always been maintained and upgraded by owners who realize what a boat needs.ย  Sheย only needs personal provisioning and she's ready to go south this fall.

If you are looking to cruise this winter, now is the time to act.ย  She's ready and waiting.

A few of her notable features are....

  • Only two owners and never chartered
  • All set for extended time away from marinas
  • Dinghy and Outboard included (Outboard is 20 HP Tohatsu with power tilt/electric start NEW in 2024)

Just wow.ย  Upon seeing the layout of the Manta 42, I was struck with how well designed she is.ย ย

We take pride in our happy customers

Yacht Broker Micheal Streng did a fantastic job helping us buy our dream retirement boat. He is pleasant, professional, smart, diligent, and totally focused toward ensuring the best outcome for us- his clients.

He helped us identify the key features we wanted. And, helped us then learn the market by seeing firsthand seeing all the boats available. How? By organizing a two day driving extravaganza to see as many boats available from dawn to dusk.

But, his crucial expert assistance continued throughout the whole buying processโ€ฆ helping us craft multiple offers and counter offers to ensure we โ€œbought-rightโ€!

His expertise continued with calmly helping us organize the multitude of details, from sourcing survey experts and renegotiating credits for issuesโ€ฆ to ensuring our foreign manufactured vessel had duty paid receiptsโ€ฆ thus all saving us much aggravation and thousands of dollars!

In closing, sourcing and buying a boat right has adventurous elements of the โ€œwild-westโ€. Our Broker – Micheal Streng was our LoneRanger & Tontoโ€ฆ expertly guiding and helping us to help make our dream a reality.

We purchased a Lagoon 470 catamaran through Zvonimir (Zee) Kalinic, TMC’s broker in Croatia and Italy. Zee is the ultimate professional and by far the best broker we have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Thankyou Zee for your professionalism, guidance and support in securing this purchase for our family! Not an easy task being Australian and purchasing in a foreign country but thanks to your help and the assistance of Andrew Holland in the office, this process was made so much more stress free.

Just wish to share our thanks with Cal Landau and The Multihull Company for their service selling our catamaran that we owned for nearly 15yrs. Cal our broker in West Palm Beach was THE BEST!
He worked with us beyond the call of duty in helping us prep and moor our boat during some horrendous weather that came through last Winter and always offered to lend a hand while we were in West Palm procuring supplies. etc. Cal was always present to show the boat, learned about our boat systems to answer questions from shoppers and made a very informative listing with great photos and video that attracted a lot of action. I wish to highly recommend Cal and The Multihull Co if you’re planning on putting your boat on the market.

The entire company was committed to my satisfaction as a seller. Andrew the broker went out of his way to help me prepare the boat for sale and in just 3 weeks we had it under contract. I had to be away from the country but Andrew the broker and Andrew (same name) the Chief Operating Officer walked me through all the paperwork needed and kept me informed at every stage of the sale. Boat owners donโ€™t remain without a boat for long, if this is the case for me, I will certainly contact Andrew and the Multihull Company to be my broker.
