About

Catamaran Brokerage is pleased to present this 2016 Leopard 44, now available in Sint Maarten, Caribbean—an excellent opportunity for private cruising or charter ownership with income and personal use.

This well-equipped catamaran is currently operating in a high-end day charter fleet and has been meticulously maintained by her professional captain-owner. Originally purchased after her initial phase in charter, she’s now part of a select fleet of five pampered sailing catamarans managed by a reputable charter company in Sint Maarten.

The new owner can step aboard and begin cruising immediately—or continue with the successful charter program. For those planning to sail only a few weeks or months per year, the yacht can remain in the fleet, generating approximately $40,000 USD per year of income and personal use.

The charter company handles all operations, maintenance, and management, while the owner enjoys stress-free usage of the boat whenever desired. Bookings can be easily switched to sister yachts in the fleet to accommodate owner availability.

Whether you choose to live aboard full-time with family and friends or leave the maintenance and dockage to the well-known charter company while receiving monthly revenue, the choice is yours.

Factory comments:

One of the many intriguing features this yacht offers is the forward cockpit with direct access from the saloon. While a forward cockpit is conventional on the modern cruising catamaran, the Leopard 44 distinctively offers an integral hardtop bimini, protecting the forward and aft cockpit, while also creating a comfortable outdoor living space.

The Leopard 44’s sailing performance and ease of handling has earned her multiple awards. All running rigging runs aft to the standard electric winch allowing this yacht to be sailed from the comfort and safety of the protected helm station with double helm seat and hardtop bimini.

Notes on History:

The boat was previously in a charter fleet in the BVI and sustained some damage during Hurricane Irma in 2017. The mast broke into two pieces but did not fall on the deck or lifelines. A new mast and standing rigging were replaced in 2020.

Minor damage on the transom was repaired with fiberglass.

In 2018, due to a defective rudder bearing, the port engine room was flooded with seawater, damaging the port engine. The port engine was replaced with a brand-new Yanmar 2019 model in 2020.

We take pride in our happy customers

The brokerage team has been amazing. They helped me find the right catamaran for our family of four, with enough space for extended family and friends to stay with us anytime. The broker really helped me narrow down what I needed. I started with a long list and eventually narrowed it down to something that was the right fit and price for me.

— Adam Munder

Our broker Mike Rybas was excellent – great experience!

I cannot speak too highly of Andrew Hodgdon and his colleagues at the Multihull Company.

The process of selling my boat was very smooth and well managed and with excellent communication – especially important as I was unable to be nearby during the sale process. Andrew’s deep knowledge of the market and my boat was very reassuring. We spoke regularly and he kept me closely advised all the way through to a happy sale. I found him a good guy, very helpful, willing to share and bounce ideas around, and I enjoyed working with him. Highly recommended!

— Allan Morrison

Andrew Hodgdon and The Multihull Company are really professional! I just closed a deal with them, and everything was pretty smooth. Andrew was punctual, showed a lot of expertise, and he was honest about all the problems with the boat. He is also giving me the support I need to run all the projects on this boat. This whole process was much better than I was expecting, and I recommend this team! Thank you, Andrew.

— Gustavo Machado

The multihull company, specifically Andrew Hodgson worked with me in the sale of Gods Grace, a 50’ Voyage 500. They made sure that as many people as possible touched it, laid hands on it, ultimately resulting in a offer and sale and was extremely helpful in the prep and sale process as I did not live locally… If you want to make sure that people actually see your vessel, will be honest and truly assist you in the sale, Andrew is the man for the job.
