2020 Leopard 40 Owners Version

Never chartered, US Duty Paid

I wanted to introduce you to "Changing Keys", one of the last Leopard 40s to be built.  The current owners have enjoyed sailing the East Coast and Bahamas with her, but due to life changes, will need to pass her on to the next owners.  The boat is currently located in the Hilton Head, South Carolina area, with plans on sailing her down to Fort Lauderdale later in the year.

Factory Remarks

This 2020 model is based on the 2018 redesign.

New starting with 2018 late models, Leopard Catamarans announced that we have made some enhancements to the successful Leopard 40.

Now with over 110 units produced, the Leopard 40 was the first of the Leopard Range to embrace the innovative layout with a forward facing galley, something that has now become a staple on the newer Leopard models. Taking into careful consideration the feedback that we received from our customers and owners, the 2020 model of the Leopard 40 has been given an even more spacious owner’s cabin, with some additional upgrades.

Continuing in the pursuit of innovation while taking into consideration customer and owner feedback, the 2018 late models or younger of the Leopard 40 now features aft cabin reconfigurations that offer more space below for added comfort.

The redesigned aft cabins now boast semi-island berths, access steps, concealed strip lighting under shelves, berths, and ceiling fixtures, and more overall space than the previous Leopard 40. The owner suite desk and storage units were intelligently rearranged within the suite to allow for a more refined layout. This new layout further expands upon the open air concept of the Leopard Catamarans line.

The port aft cabin also underwent the same reconfiguration less the owner cabin desk arrangement.

Staying true to our legacy of open concept designs, we were able to accomplished this renovation without compromising any interior living space, one of the most loved features of the Leopard line. The Leopard 40 still offers more interior living space than other catamaran of similar size, and no other yacht in this class of sailing catamarans boasts the speed, agility, or blue water performance that the Leopard 40 can.

We take pride in our happy customers

The multihull company, specifically Andrew Hodgson worked with me in the sale of Gods Grace, a 50’ Voyage 500. They made sure that as many people as possible touched it, laid hands on it, ultimately resulting in a offer and sale and was extremely helpful in the prep and sale process as I did not live locally… If you want to make sure that people actually see your vessel, will be honest and truly assist you in the sale, Andrew is the man for the job.

Andrew Hodgdon always goes above and beyond. After several transactions I wouldn’t work with anyone else in the industry.

— David Pignolet

Andrew at the Multihull Company was our buyer’s broker and he was excellent to work with. He thoroughly explained the purchase process, and helped with many questions along the way. We would definitely use Andrew and Multihull again to buy and sell catamarans and yachts.
