About

SV Annie - 2010 Fountaine Pajot Orana 44 "Maestro version"

We're pleased to represent what the owner believes is "now a much better boat than when we bought her." After three years of meticulous upgrades and two successful Pacific crossings to Fiji, Annie represents exceptional value.

The Owner's Passion Project
Since November 2022, the owner has systematically transformed Annie into a premium blue water cruiser. With only 10 hours on comprehensively reconditioned engines, he's confident they're "good for at least 3,000 hours."

Complete Upgrades
July 2025 engine rebuild – port engine: new cushion plates, heat exchanger, seals; starboard: full rebore, new pistons, rings, head plane.

Key upgrades:
- Topsides have been completely refurbished and wrapped, so Annie is looking like a new boat
- All new sails since 2022: mainsail (2023), genoa, spinnaker, Code Zero, storm jib
- New Victron AGM batteries (880Ah, 2024) with fresh starting batteries
- Updated solar system with smart controllers (825W)
- Rudder bearings replaced, quadrants reconditioned
- New electric toilet (2023), remote anchor control
- New plastic fuel tanks replacing corroded aluminium
- Dyneema running rigging

Proven Performance
Two successful Fiji voyages demonstrate blue water credentials. Cruises 8 knots both engines, 6.5 knots single. 400L fuel capacity with efficient Volvo D2-40s provides excellent range.

Owners' version layout: three spacious double cabins with 1.85-1.95m headroom throughout.

Self-Sufficient Systems
Cat 1 compliant (May 2025) with new 6-person liferaft, Aqua Base watermaker (180L/hr), 9.5KVA generator, plus liveaboard additions like espresso machine and washing machine.

Currently on the yard in Marsden (NZ2363, tax paid). Annie represents a rare opportunity to acquire a comprehensively upgraded blue water catamaran.

Annie's story is one of careful stewardship – now she's ready for her next chapter.

We take pride in our happy customers

I chose Zee (Zvonimir Kalinic) after posting an ad for a broker on Yacht Sales from about 15 other brokers because he showed professionalism and care right away compared to the others. Most of the brokers never intended to show people my boat but yet somehow expected to collect commission. Zee met me in Novigrad and spent 3 hours taking photos and drone footage and throughout the listing period was communicating continuously and advising me about any offers that came through. His service was at a high standard that I was extremely happy with and felt comfortable at all times especially since I’m in Sydney and my boat is in Montenegro. I can’t recommend Zee highly enough to anyone looking to sell their boat with peace of mind.

The brokerage team has been amazing. They helped me find the right catamaran for our family of four, with enough space for extended family and friends to stay with us anytime. The broker really helped me narrow down what I needed. I started with a long list and eventually narrowed it down to something that was the right fit and price for me.

— Adam Munder

Our broker Mike Rybas was excellent – great experience!

I cannot speak too highly of Andrew Hodgdon and his colleagues at the Multihull Company.

The process of selling my boat was very smooth and well managed and with excellent communication – especially important as I was unable to be nearby during the sale process. Andrew’s deep knowledge of the market and my boat was very reassuring. We spoke regularly and he kept me closely advised all the way through to a happy sale. I found him a good guy, very helpful, willing to share and bounce ideas around, and I enjoyed working with him. Highly recommended!

— Allan Morrison

Andrew Hodgdon and The Multihull Company are really professional! I just closed a deal with them, and everything was pretty smooth. Andrew was punctual, showed a lot of expertise, and he was honest about all the problems with the boat. He is also giving me the support I need to run all the projects on this boat. This whole process was much better than I was expecting, and I recommend this team! Thank you, Andrew.
