2024 Nautitech 44 Open ASGARD

Exceptionally equipped. Exciting to sail.Unbeatable price.

Asgard left the Nautitech yard with close to every factory option specified, and her current owner has kept adding since. A new North Sails 3Di wardrobe this year, walkable solar across the coachroof and arch, Lumishore underwater lights, EVA foam decking in the cockpit, a Plancha grill, and new TVs throughout. Enjoy thrilling sailing without compromising onboard comfort. Her port hull features the owners suite and luxurious master bath, the starboard hull features a guest cabin and the Smart Room Utility Layout with laundry.

Notable highlights include:

  • New 2026 North Sails wardrobe: 3Di square-top mainsail, solent, screecher, and spinnaker, designed with North to maximize effective sail area
  • Oxley Parasailor and the original factory performance sails aboard as a second inventory
  • Owner's version layout with Smart Room utility layout and Thompson vented washer/dryer
  • 630 Ah 12V lithium bank
  • ~2,560 W of solar across the arch and coachroof
  • Starlink Dish installed and included
  • 3-blade feathering props
  • B&G package: Zeus 9 plotters at both helms, Zeus 12 with forward-looking sonar at the nav desk, Halo 20+ radar, NAC-3 autopilot
  • Aqua Base 105 LPH watermaker
  • 9 kW Onan generator 800hrs
  • 16,000 and 8,000 BTU air handlers
  • Out-of-water service November 2025: new bottom paint, saildrive service, and full engine and generator service
  • Ocean Signal EPIRB, center-console RIB on davits with a 20 hp fuel-injected Suzuki

The Nautitech 44 Opens easy handling, exceptional performance and comfortable seakeeping are what make her one of my favorite catamaran models ever built. Marc Lombards team designed her with a class-leading weight-to-sail area ratio: 24,030 pounds displacement carrying 1,130 square feet of working sail, and the open architecture runs through the whole boat. The twin helms sit aft and outboard with clear passage between them, control lines led to both sides, and sightlines to the bows and your sail plan. Through the cockpit, the salon opens through sliding glass doors, so the two spaces blend as one.The cockpit table in the open tabletop position makes the seating so much more functional and accessible for your group, and folds together to seat up to eight.

The owner's hull holds the private suite, featuring tons of storage, closet head separate from spacious shower and vanity. Across in the starboard hull, the utility room sits forward of the guest cabin with a Thompson vented washer/dryer and optional deep freezer. For anyone living aboard, that room absorbs the laundry and the projects that otherwise take over a cabin, and the access to the forepeak makes the storage space super functional. In the salon, the galley is open to the cockpit so whoever is cooking stays in the conversation. The forward-facing nav desk carries the Zeus 12 featuring Sail Sense monitoring and control of onboard systems.

630Ah 12V SuperB lithium batteries make up the house bank, fed by solar across the roof and arch, the engine alternators, and a Victron MultiPlus 12/3000 inverter-charger, with a 9 kW Onan generator providing on demand power. The Aqua Base watermaker produces roughly 28 gallons an hour into 159 gallons of tankage. 24000 BTU of air conditions supplied via 2 air handlers. Starlink dish installed and included.

The sail inventory definitely separates Asgard from most 44 Opens on the market. Her owner worked with a North Sails designer to maximize effective sail area and specified a square-top mainsail, a solent, a screecher, and a spinnaker. The square top carries area high where the breeze is cleaner. The screecher and the kite cover the reaching and downwind angles, where a cruising catamaran spends most of a tradewind passage. The Oxley Parasailor and the original factory performance sails remain aboard, which gives a new owner a full second wardrobe for delivery legs and heavy-weather work.

Both Volvo Penta D2-50 engines feature 3-blade feathering props, and along with the Onan generator had oil, filters, and belts replaced in November 2025. Sail drives were serviced at the same time, and new antifouling was applied. Engine hours: 1000P 1000S

We take pride in our happy customers

I recently sold my Lagoon 450 with the Multihull Team. I would highly recommend their services. The professionalism and personal treatment I received was greatly appreciated.

Great Service, Great People
Helped me through the process.
I would go through them again in a future purchase.

— David Anderson

The Multihull Company made the process of buying our boat easy and predictable. Both our agent (Francisco Montaner) and Andrew Holland communicated well and educated/informed us of each step in the process. I highly recommend The Multihull Company for those shopping for a catamaran!

— Jeffrey Bredeson

Chuck at The Multihull Company is the real deal.
He helped us find our Lagoon 40 after genuinely listening to what we needed, not just what he had to sell. He let us visit the boat multiple times, answered every question honestly, and helped us make a confident decision on a major purchase.
What impressed us most was the post-sale support. Once the paperwork was signed, Chuck was still picking up the phone, offering referrals, and helping us work through the early stages of liveaboard life. That kind of follow-through is rare.
If you are looking for a multihull and want someone who knows the boats and actually cares about the outcome, Chuck is the person to call.

We just purchased a 2025 Nautitech 44 Open with The Multihull Company. The process of getting here has been great, and we could not have asked for a better agent. We worked with Conor, whom we met at the 2025 Cannes Boat Show. We started our search for a cruising catamaran in Florida at the beginning of the year. We spent a couple of months looking at different boats/models within our price range and quickly narrowed it down to what really mattered to us, in part thanks to the wealth of knowledge and expertise our broker provided. When we found a perfect match in Montenegro, Conor and The Multihull Company did not hesitate to continue supporting us and to lead the efforts from start to finish with great care and transparency. Communication and support have been outstanding throughout this entire process. Conor, in particular, showed great compassion and care, going above and beyond to ensure that no stone was left unturned and that we would be able to safely and happily sail off into our big adventure.
