About

2011 Leopard 47PC "Shearwater"

4/4 version, not chartered,

upgraded 260HP Volvo engines, 1,450 hrs

-US import duty paid-

Brokers remarks: Originally sold by Leopard in Fort Lauderdale as a family boat. "Shearwater" has been privately owned since new and has relatively low hours on engines / generator (coincidentally, all systems have around 1,450 hrs as of Feb 2026. Almost all 4 cabin models of the Leopard 47PC were charter boats from the Moorings (with smaller Cummins or John Deere engines). "Shearwater" has the upgraded Volvo 260HP, which can propel the boat over 20 knots. And "Shearwater" has never been chartered :-)

"Shearwater" is located in Freeport, an easy 20 minute flight from south FL.

Equipped with 9kW northern light generator, custom mattresses in all cabins (2024), 3 x new air conditioning units in 2023, engines and generator recently serviced and in good running condition, new Isinglass in 2023, bottom painted in 2025. Watermaker, Garmin display, custom mattresses. Lots of  bang for your buck. Please check out the tab "Additional Specifications"  for all details. US Duty paid!

BUILDERS REMARKS: This breed of power catamaran was designed by the famous naval architects Morrelli and Melvin. What other power boat offers four double state rooms with ensuite heads and stall showers, in addition to the best fuel economy and range currently on the market. Ideal for the Bahamas, ICW cruising and off-shore sport fishing.

Absolutely THE ONLY company to use for buying or selling a catamaran! Our Broker Andrew Hodgdon, was excellent to work with, an experienced catamaran captain with extensive knowledge of sailing catamarans, the ins and outs of the construction, performance, systems, everything involved and life on board catamarans. All of which is invaluable in looking for the right boat for someone to buy or helping market your boat when selling. The Multihull Company is so connected in the catamaran world and used by so many catamaran sailors and searchers that we had an interested buyer before our boat was even listed and a completed sale 60 days after her first showing!!! Thanks Andrew and all of the Multihull team who worked diligently to make it happen so smoothly!

— Linda W.

We had a great experience working with Andrew! He was extremely knowledgeable and listened to our needs of what we wanted our next boat to be. He responded quickly to all of our requests and got us to the finish line. Working with Multihull was seamless and we highly recommend using Andrew and Multihull.

— Alyson Nance

Chris Block was our broker. He was great. He went above and beyond what we thought we needed. His expertise helped us get our dream boat for way less than expected. I will use TMC and Chris Block in the future. Definitely recommend.

— Austin Smith

Chris Rundlett in Grenada was my buyers broker for a catamaran I purchased in Tortola.
The buying process was problematic with numerous mechanical issues needing attention. Throughout the process he was fantastic. I would highly recommend him if you’re looking to buy a boat in the Caribbean.
