Lagoon 440

Over-equipped Lagoon Ready for a Family World Tour!
The interior is spacious, well-designed, and in perfect condition, with upholstery close to new.

Lagoon is a brand dedicated to life and freedom, born from the dream of combining travel and large-capacity comfort.

The Lagoon Catamaran is the result of an alliance of talents: those of CNB, one of the most respected shipyards in the superyacht industry, and the Beneteau Group, the world leader in cruising production.

If this is your first time aboard the Lagoon 440, you will be impressed by the space available on board.

Launched in 2004, the Lagoon 440 catamaran was the first catamaran under 45 feet to have a fly bridge and an unprecedented gull-wing nacelle.
With the production of 432 units, the Lagoon 440 catamaran set world records for the catamaran range under 45 feet.

The Lagoon 440 sailboat is a habitable cruising catamaran built by the Lagoon shipyard in France.

It was designed by naval architect Marc Van Peteghem / Vincent Lauriot Prévost and installed on a 13.61m (44 ft) sloop.
Production started in 2004.

VPLP Architects' engineers carefully combined aesthetics and performance to design this true ocean suite.
The family features of this offshore multihull make it a seaside platform once anchored, thanks to its easy access to the stern and rear gangway, allowing access from one stern to the other.

Accessible through a sliding door, the Lagoon 440 has a large lounge that can easily accommodate 8 people. The light wood finish of the bright interior has a soothing effect.
The characteristic vertical windows of Lagoon not only offer a panoramic view through the lounge but also allow sunlight to filter without heating the interior.

The curved sofa in the lounge with its thick padding makes a comfortable resting space and faces the L-shaped kitchen which, with its spacious counters, is equipped with three stainless steel sinks and a three-burner stove with an oven, a refrigerator, and a freezer. There is also a sliding window that can be opened for fresh air or to reach the rear cockpit. The entire cockpit is protected by a rigid fiberglass roof. There is also plenty of storage space in the form of cabinets along the top of the kitchen.

The owner's version of the Lagoon 440 catamaran replaces the two cabins on the starboard hull in the charter version with a private suite. The private suite has a main bed of 175 cm with the same light wood finish and also has a comfortable sofa as well as storage space in the form of a hanging locker, cabinets under the bed, and drawers. There is also a vanity with a stool that can be removed and a separate and spacious shower compartment. The large window in the cabin allows light but only opens in one direction to ensure privacy. The other two cabins in the port hull also house double berths and adjoining shower compartments, but the cabins are not as large as the master suite.

This catamaran measures over 13 m (44 ft) in length, and thanks to the best ergonomics, after careful consideration, everyone can enjoy the sea air to the fullest!

Inside, due to the large openings in the hull, the lounge and cabins are particularly bright:

The bright and well-ventilated lounge is sublimated, offering a large table, wide and comfortable seats, and incredible panoramic views, inviting its occupants to appreciate different backgrounds.
Opposite is an impressive "L"-shaped kitchen with beautiful stainless steel countertops facing the cockpit. It is specially equipped with a large oven, a triple sink, a three-burner stove, and two refrigerators.
It is worth mentioning that the Lagoon 440 cabin has a "queen-size" bed, optimized space, and luxurious furniture that offers plenty of storage space while respecting the entire ship's requirement.

At the rear, the cockpit is very spacious, protected from the sun and rain by the rigid Bimini Island: a privileged place for relaxation, both at anchor and while sailing!

The cockpit is installed above the roof, and the entire ship is very clear.

Your team delivered on every mark. You’ve got an amazing broker in Mark Wattrus and I’m confident you will have continued success moving forward together. He was available 24/7 whenever I had questions. We had a great initial visit on the boat and his marketing plan and photos were superb

— Jimmy

I bought a yacht that I had never seen. I did this because I trusted my broker Andrew Holland. It was not an easy job for Andrew, as I am an experienced boat builder and owner of previous yachts, but work in West Africa. Imagine how hard it was to communicate what I was looking for. Andrew came up with exactly what I wanted. He dealt with time delays, all my questions at odd hours, and was there for the survey. He reported honestly and professionally. After buying the yacht, I arrived at the boat on a Sunday night, after dark, after travelling from West Africa to the Caribbean, and found it was better than expected. He never pulled punches and made me aware of shortfalls. I expected to spend my one month leave working on the boat, but actually spent less than one week, and was able to spend 3 weeks sailing – wonderful bonus.

Thank you Andrew for putting up with all my questions, all my worries and all my crazy out of the time zone concerns – you were totally professional, but also I know that if and when we meet up, it will be like a friend finally meeting. You are always welcome on Aseka.

Outstanding company with professional subject matter experts. If I were to buy or sell cruising sailboat, particularly a catamaran, Andrew would be my go to broker.

— JT

I have been sailing since I was a child and attended Massachusetts Maritime Academy. But when my wife and I began the process of purchasing an ocean cruising/racing catamaran, I realized that this is a world unto itself. Obviously, we needed to find someone knowledgeable to help us make an informed decision. More importantly, we needed someone honest and willing to put our interests before his or her own. I was lucky to work with Phil Berman at The Multihull Company. He repeatedly shunned the fast buck, choosing instead to work the long road to connect us with the “perfect boat”. I would be glad to recommend Phil and his company to anyone planning to purchase or sell a performance sailing machine.

— Eric Boutiette

Andrew Hodgdon was our broker when we bought our 2018 Lagoon 450F in Antigua in April 2922. He provided great service and was very attentive to our needs. We would highly recommend Andrew and the Multihull Company.
