MULAN is a 2024 Excess 14 Pulse Line that has already done what most buyers are only preparing for. Delivered new in October 2024, she completed a full circumnavigation with the World ARC in April 2026, sailing approximately 32,000 nautical miles, including Atlantic and Pacific crossings.
Eighteen months of continuous offshore sailing mean her commissioning and teething issues have been found and resolved, and her systems have been set up and refined for real long-distance use. She has been maintained to ARC standards throughout, with engines serviced at 50/200-hour intervals.
The Excess 14 Pulse Line combines true sailing performance with the space and comfort of a 45 ft catamaran. MULAN won several World ARC stages in the catamaran class and performed strongly on the most demanding legs, including the Pacific crossing from the Galápagos Islands to Nuku Hiva, with a best 24-hour run of 225 nautical miles.
She is offered with an extensive cruising inventory: lithium batteries with 2,000 W of solar, a hydrogenerator and a 10 kVA generator; full ARC-compliant offshore safety equipment; a performance sail wardrobe including a new Parasailor and Code 0; Starlink, watermaker, spares, tools and water toys. Recent additions include a new fridge/freezer and a new galley foot pump.
