About
The Leopard 2007 43 is a bluewater-capable cruising catamaran with straightforward systems and a spacious, practical 4 cabin layout. The Leopard 43 was based on the award-winning Leopard 42 design that preceded it. Added features included a hard-top bimini, a longer transom, fixed stainless steel davits and Yanmar engines. The 4-cabin layout features 4 spacious double cabins with en suite heads and separate showers, fully equipped galley and expanded saloon with breakfast bar. A clear deck layout, excellent deck access, walkthrough access from the cockpit to the aft swim platform and a galley-up design are popular features with cruisers.
Begin your walkthrough on deck: step aboard via the wide stern swim platforms and enter the cockpit—notice the large seating area, folding dining table, and direct access to the side decks. The helm is to starboard; check the engine throttles, steering, and neatly grouped instrument panel. Walk forward along the protected side decks to the foredeck where the trampoline and bow lockers give easy access to the anchor rode, windlass chain and rhode. The sidedecks also provide excellent access to the foredeck for sail handling. The coachroof offers a wide excellent platform for solar.
Entering the salon from the cockpit there is a large comfortable C-shaped raised dinette with seating to starboard. To port is an L-shaped galley with twin stainless sinks, gimbaled stove w/ oven, ample lockers for dish and dry storage and a top-loading fridge. The navigation station to starboard with chart table, electrical panel and space for additional instruments.
Descend into the four-cabin accommodation via the companionway each side of the salon. The hulls each contain two double cabins and (2) ensuite heads. Each aft cabin features a large double berth, hanging locker, shelving and an ensuite head with shower and electric toilet. The forward cabins feature double berths hanging lockers, additional shelving for storage, excellent lighting and ventilation.

Andrew Hodgdon at The Multihull Company was instrumental in our recent boat purchase. Andrew’s experience with performance catamarans was a key reason why we were comfortable and his straightforward communication style was very much appreciated when so much is at stake. We had a very fast viewing to close timeline on the other side of the country and Andrew always took our calls and responded quickly even with time differences which mattered a lot. We’re very happy with the outcome and Andrew played a crucial role.
I chose Zee (Zvonimir Kalinic) after posting an ad for a broker on Yacht Sales from about 15 other brokers because he showed professionalism and care right away compared to the others. Most of the brokers never intended to show people my boat but yet somehow expected to collect commission. Zee met me in Novigrad and spent 3 hours taking photos and drone footage and throughout the listing period was communicating continuously and advising me about any offers that came through. His service was at a high standard that I was extremely happy with and felt comfortable at all times especially since I’m in Sydney and my boat is in Montenegro. I can’t recommend Zee highly enough to anyone looking to sell their boat with peace of mind.
The brokerage team has been amazing. They helped me find the right catamaran for our family of four, with enough space for extended family and friends to stay with us anytime. The broker really helped me narrow down what I needed. I started with a long list and eventually narrowed it down to something that was the right fit and price for me.
