About

This catamaran is a high-performance cruising model designed by Enrico Contreas and crafted by Mattia & Cecco. It measures 13.70 meters in length and 6.87 meters in width, with a draft ranging from 1 to 2 meters when the centerboards are lowered. Registered in 1998, it had two previous owners before being acquired by the current owner in May 2017. Since then, it has been meticulously maintained, with regular upgrades to ensure peak performance.

The Mattia 46 boasts a sloop rig with a full-batten mainsail of 60 square meters, a self-tacking jib of about 20 square meters, and a gennaker with a dedicated circuit measuring approximately 80 square meters.

Inside, the kitchen is equipped with four burners, a gas oven, and ample workspace, complemented by three refrigerators and a double stainless steel sink with a draining board. Additionally, there is a sea water tap with a foot pump.

Comfort is prioritized with four double cabins with ensuite bathroom with a shower and electirc toilet. Cabins are equipped with USB charging ports for convenience. The dinette offers two linear sofas and a foldable table, allowing for easy passage, and there is generous storage space under the sofas and beds, with chests of drawers and wardrobes in each cabin.

Safety features include eight watertight compartments for buoyancy, and the boat is certified for unlimited navigation from the coast. It is equipped with an MMSI code, EPIRB, radio, and receiving AIS. Safety equipment includes an 8-person oceanic life raft, life vests for 16 people, boat hooks, fenders, and a Joker Boat tender with a 15 HP Mercury engine.

With two forepeak sail lockers and ample storage throughout, the Mattia 46 combines exceptional performance with luxurious comfort, making it ideal for extended cruising adventures.

We take pride in our happy customers

Dear Cynthia and Andrew,
I wanted to extend my sincere thanks to both of you and The Multihull Company team for the outstanding job you did in successfully closing the sale of our Excess 14. Despite the challenging environment — including new import tariffs and unique buyer requirements — you navigated everything with professionalism, perseverance, and efficiency.
The transaction was completed smoothly and in good time, which is a true credit to your dedication and expertise. Very well done.
Thank you again, and I wish you all the very best.
Warm regards,
Jurgen

We had an outstanding experience working with Andrew Hodgdon. From the very beginning, he demonstrated deep knowledge of the catamaran we were considering and took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for. He found us the perfect vessel that matched our needs and budget and negotiated a fantastic deal on our behalf.

What truly set him apart was he responsiveness—every question we had was answered promptly and thoroughly, and he guided us through the entire process with professionalism and care. We couldn’t be happier with the service and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated yacht broker.
