Kate Burke

Kate Burke has recently joined The Multihull Company as an Associate Broker, working from her Lagoon 450 “Bitty Rose”. Alongside her husband Clay, Kate has spent the past three years as a full-time liveaboard cruiser, sailing the Bahamas and the Caribbean.

Originally from Ponte Vedra Beach, Kate didn’t stray far from home when she attended Florida State University where she majored in Editing, Writing & Media while also working in the hospitality industry. After graduation in 2011, Kate settled in St Petersburg, FL where she worked in Public Relations, Events, and Digital Marketing. In 2018, Kate took a significant step by relocating to Berlin, Germany to serve as a Business Development Manager for a new product incubator of a major coffee brand.

While living in Europe, Kate and her husband enjoyed chartering sailing catamarans in the Mediterranean which inspired their next move – onto a boat! As a Floridian, Kate has always felt most at home near the water and now, living and working from a sailing catamaran, she finds that connection to be even stronger.

Kate is excited to join the TMC family and is eager to share her vast sailing knowledge with future clients. She encourages any fellow cruisers who encounter SV Bitty Rose in the wild to step onboard for happy hour, to discuss comparable sales and navigate your options in the current market.
