History and Design
Carefully crafted and designed, "Poe Miti" is the result of a close collaboration between its current owner and naval architect Ron Given. Over the course of a year, the initial design was optimized to meet the highest standards of performance and comfort. Built by Life Style Yachts in New Zealand, the boat set sail for New Caledonia in 2013.
Upgrades and Features
Since her launch, "Poe Miti" has undergone constant improvements and meticulous maintenance. The cockpit was extended by one meter to include a large freezer, a fighting chair, two live bait tanks, and various equipment for deep-sea fishing. The spacious interior comfortably accommodates its crew with three double cabins, a large bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen.
Technical Specifications
In March 2022, the boat was fitted with two Yanmar 250 hp engines, offering both power and fuel efficiency, and they remain under warranty. The vessel is armed and certified by Veritas in Category B, allowing navigation up to 200 nautical miles from a shelter. With her impressive fuel autonomy, watermaker, and solar panels, "Poe Miti" is fully equipped for long-range exploration in complete independence.

Historique et conception
Conçu avec soin et précision, « Poe Miti » est le fruit d’une collaboration étroite entre son propriétaire actuel et l’architecte naval Ron Given. Pendant un an, le design initial du bateau a été optimisé pour répondre aux exigences de performance et de confort. Sa construction a été confiée à Life Style Yachts en Nouvelle-Zélande, et il a pris le large en direction de la Nouvelle-Calédonie en 2013.
Améliorations et équipements
Depuis sa mise à l’eau, « Poe Miti » a fait l’objet d’améliorations constantes et d’un entretien rigoureux. Le cockpit a été rallongé d’un mètre pour inclure un gros congélateur, une chaise de combat, deux bacs viviers ainsi que divers équipements pour la pêche au gros. L’habitacle, particulièrement spacieux, accueille confortablement son équipage grâce à trois cabines doubles, une grande salle de bain et une cuisine parfaitement équipée.
Caractéristiques techniques
En mars 2022, le bateau a été équipé de deux moteurs Yanmar de 250 chevaux, puissants, économes en carburant et encore sous garantie. Il est armé et certifié par Veritas en catégorie B, permettant de naviguer jusqu’à 200 milles nautiques d’un abri. Avec une grande autonomie en carburant, un dessalinisateur et des panneaux solaires, « Poe Miti » est parfaitement adapté à l’exploration de destinations lointaines en totale autonomie.
