Lagoon 400 S2 | 2014 | EU VAT Paid | Electric Propulsion
A distinctive Lagoon 400 S2 combining the proven comfort and cruising ability of this popular model with a thoroughly developed electric propulsion and onboard energy system. Delivered new from Lagoon in spring 2014 and kept within the same family ownership, she has cruised extensively through the Mediterranean, across the Atlantic to the Caribbean, and back to Europe.
In 2022, the original diesel engines and saildrives were removed and replaced with twin E-Tech 10WG inboard electric motors on conventional shaft drives, paired with Flexofold two-blade folding propellers. A 20 kWh LiFePO₄ battery bank, approximately 2 kWp of solar, Victron monitoring and charging equipment, and a Kohler 11 kW generator as range and safety reserve create a quiet, practical and highly energy-independent cruising setup.
She is offered in the desirable four-cabin, four-head layout, with eight berths, 2.00 m headroom and the bright, open saloon-to-cockpit arrangement for which the Lagoon 400 S2 is well known. Her inventory includes a 2023 mainsail, Code 0, gennaker, Schenker 60 l/h watermaker, electric toilets, davits, passerelle and a 2024 aluminium RIB with 2024 Mercury 9.9 hp outboard. EU VAT is paid and she is offered ready to sail.
