Fully Optioned 400DC Islander!
TWIN 600 Verados w/ 126 Hours
SEAKEEPER 6
FULL GARMIN SUITE
This 2025 World Cat 400DC Islander is an exceptional example of World Cat’s flagship dual-console design, combining the stability, efficiency and offshore capability of a true catamaran hull with the comfort and amenities of a luxury cruising boat. Powered by twin Mercury V12 Verado 600 horsepower outboards with only 126 hours, this 400DC Islander delivers an impressive 1,200 horsepower package with the performance to match. The World Cat catamaran hull provides an incredibly stable, smooth ride while the expansive 12’8” beam creates an enormous amount of usable space throughout the boat. Whether your plans include offshore fishing, cruising, entertaining, diving or extended days on the water, this boat is exceptionally well equipped for all of it.
At the helm, a full Garmin electronics package provides everything needed for serious navigation and offshore operation, including Garmin multifunction displays, radar and sonar capabilities. The boat is further enhanced with a Seakeeper 6 gyro, dramatically reducing roll and making time aboard more comfortable whether underway, drifting or sitting at the dock. A Fischer Panda generator provides dependable onboard power, allowing you to take full advantage of the vessel’s air conditioning, heat and other electrical systems without relying solely on shore power.
The accommodations are particularly impressive for a boat of this type. The port-side console incorporates a private berth with comfortable overnight accommodations and storage, while the starboard console features a full head with a separate walk-in shower. Air conditioning and heat make both the cabin and helm areas comfortable in virtually any season. The generous interior storage throughout the boat makes it easy to keep gear organized without sacrificing the open feel of the 400DC Islander.
Aft, the boat is set up equally well for entertaining and fishing, with a summer kitchen featuring a built-in grill and ample preparation space. The expansive cockpit and aft deck provide plenty of room for guests, while the molded swim platform with SeaDek decking makes swimming, diving and boarding easy and comfortable. The World Cat’s wide beam continues all the way forward, creating expansive bow seating and more than 200 square feet of usable deck space. There is ample storage throughout the boat, making this a remarkably versatile platform for everything from family cruising to serious offshore adventures.
The specifications are equally impressive. The 400DC Islander measures 39’8” overall with a 12’8” beam and approximately 25” of draft. Fuel capacity is an impressive 464 gallons, with a freshwater capacity of approximately 52 gallons and a 13-gallon wastewater tank. Dry weight with power is approximately 16,500 pounds, and the boat carries a maximum horsepower rating of 1,200 horsepower. World Cat lists a typical cruise speed of approximately 22.2 mph at 0.9 mpg and a 30 mph cruise efficiency of approximately 1.02 mpg with the Mercury V12 600s.
Performance with the twin 600-horsepower Mercury V12 Verados is outstanding. Mercury/World Cat testing has recorded speeds in excess of 55 mph, with one test showing 55.8 mph at 6,287 rpm, a 0–20 mph time of 4.28 seconds and a 0–30 mph time of just 6.53 seconds. At 4,000 rpm, testing showed approximately 34.1 mph while consuming 36.5 gallons per hour, and at 5,000 rpm the boat reached approximately 44 mph. At wide-open throttle, the test recorded 55.8 mph at 6,400 rpm. Actual performance will vary depending on load, sea conditions, propeller selection and fuel level.
This 2025 World Cat 400DC Islander checks all the boxes for someone looking for a large, luxury catamaran that can genuinely do it all. Twin Mercury V12 600s with only 126 hours, Seakeeper 6, Fischer Panda generator, full Garmin electronics with radar, air conditioning and heat, private port berth, starboard head with separate shower, summer kitchen with grill, SeaDek swim platform and tremendous storage make this a highly desirable and exceptionally capable World Cat. It offers the space and comfort of a much larger vessel while retaining the stability, efficiency and performance advantages that make the World Cat catamaran platform so unique.

We had an outstanding experience working with Andrew Hodgdon to find our dream boat, an Outremer 52.
We were actually referred to him by several different people—clients who had been very happy working with him, as well as boat owners who were planning to use him to sell their own boats. After working with Andrew ourselves, we completely understand why he came so highly recommended.
We worked with him for several months, and from start to finish, he was exceptional. Andrew is incredibly knowledgeable and truly an expert when it comes to performance catamarans. He took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for, was always responsive and organized, and never made us feel pressured throughout the process.
Andrew went above and beyond to arrange showings for us in multiple states and even traveled to another state to be there with us for the sea trial. His expertise and guidance gave us tremendous confidence as we evaluated such a significant purchase.
The entire process could have been overwhelming, but he made it remarkably smooth. He was on top of every detail and made the paperwork and closing process easy, working seamlessly with his team at The Multihull Company.
What impressed us most was that he genuinely had our best interests in mind. And his support didn’t end when the sale was completed. He has continued to stay in touch and has made it clear that he is still available to help us if we ever need him. That kind of follow-through is rare and speaks volumes about the kind of broker he is.
Buying an Outremer 52 was a huge decision and a major investment, and having someone with his knowledge, experience, responsiveness, and integrity made the entire experience so much easier and more enjoyable.
We couldn’t recommend Andrew Hodgdon more highly. If you’re looking for a yacht broker—especially if you’re considering a performance catamaran—we would choose him again without hesitation. The fact that so many people recommended him to us was the reason we called him, and after working with him, we would be one of those people recommending him to others.
I highly recommend Andrew Hodgdon. He served as our buyers broker. He is responsive, highly knowledgeable and very experienced. He is also an excellent guide and counselor before, during and after the boat purchase process. If you are looking for a good-sailing cat, he seems to collect most of the available boats on the better-sailing side of the market. Top marks.
Andrew did an excellent job getting me started on my new adventures. Worked with my conflicting schedule. Is very knowledgeable in the catamaran industry. 😎
I recently sold my Lagoon 450 with the Multihull Team. I would highly recommend their services. The professionalism and personal treatment I received was greatly appreciated.
Great Service, Great People
Helped me through the process.
I would go through them again in a future purchase.

A TMC buyer's broker will send line-by-line costs, what to check at survey, and how this boat compares with others that fit your plan.
Broad estimate by TMC based on the listing's published equipment, typical installed costs for this size of boat, and yard rates in the selected region.
