The Multihull Company is pleased to announce the opening of its new offices at Red Frog Marina in Panama with Associate Broker Charles Badoian.
At 12 years old Charles told his mom he wanted to live on a boat and that dream became a reality at 35 when he moved onboard a baby trimaran full time. Growing up in Greece and moving back to the USA for highschool and college, Charles has never veered far from the water. After a decade in the Florida Keys and the Bahamas, Charles is now based in Bocas del Toro Panama, living on his Shuttleworth catamaran. Charles has a deep understanding of ship systems and has been living off grid for over a decade, with a significant amount of shorthanded performance sailing. “There are few things I appreciate more than watching the eyes of a new owner light up when taking the helm of their new boat for the first time, or seeing a well-loved boat going to a great new home, and knowing I helped make that a reality”
Now, Charles joins the growing team at TMC at its new offices at Red Frog Marina in Panama. Just north of the Panama Canal, Red Frog Marina is a superb location to slip your catamaran before a crossing in the canal or hauling out at the renowned Shelter Bay Marina. Andrew Hodgdon at The Multihull Company was instrumental in our recent boat purchase. Andrew’s experience with performance catamarans was a key reason why we were comfortable and his straightforward communication style was very much appreciated when so much is at stake. I chose Zee (Zvonimir Kalinic) after posting an ad for a broker on Yacht Sales from about 15 other brokers because he showed professionalism and care right away compared to the others. Most of the brokers never intended to show people my boat but yet somehow expected to collect commission. Zee met me in Novigrad and spent 3 hours taking photos and drone footage and throughout the listing period was communicating continuously and advising me about any offers that came through. His service was at a high standard that I was extremely happy with and felt comfortable at all times especially since I’m in Sydney and my boat is in Montenegro. I can’t recommend Zee highly enough to anyone looking to sell their boat with peace of mind.
The brokerage team has been amazing. They helped me find the right catamaran for our family of four, with enough space for extended family and friends to stay with us anytime. The broker really helped me narrow down what I needed. I started with a long list and eventually narrowed it down to something that was the right fit and price for me.
