About this Lagoon SEVENTY 8

Lagoon SEVENTY 8 - uncompromising luxury, comfort and range

The Lagoon SEVENTY 8 represents the pinnacle of large power catamarans – a yacht developed for owners seeking a combination of luxury, exceptional space, outstanding comfort and genuine long-range cruising capability.

With a length of 23.80 metres and an impressive beam of 11 metres, the SEVENTY 8 offers exceptional volume and a sense of space that clearly sets her apart from traditional motor yachts in the same size range. The twin hulls provide extraordinary interior and exterior living areas, together with excellent stability and comfort both underway and at anchor.

The SEVENTY 8 is the result of a collaboration between VPLP Design, Patrick Le Quément and Nauta Design, responsible respectively for naval architecture, exterior design and interior design. The result is a yacht with elegant, timeless lines combined with the outstanding use of space for which Lagoon is renowned.

Exceptional outdoor areas

The vast flybridge is one of the yacht’s natural gathering areas, with ample space for sunbathing, dining and socialising, together with panoramic views.

The generous aft cockpit connects directly to the saloon through large glass surfaces, creating a natural transition between interior and exterior spaces. Forward, another substantial deck area provides further space for relaxation and sunbathing, while wide side decks make movement around the yacht easy and safe.

Designed for extended stays on board

Inside, the sense of volume and exclusivity continues. The spacious saloon offers panoramic views through extensive glazing and an abundance of natural light.

With 8,620 litres of fuel capacity, 1,600 litres of fresh water and CE Category A classification, SÁSTA is exceptionally well suited to long-distance cruising and extended periods on board. Her moderate draft of just 1.27 metres also provides access to bays and anchorages often inaccessible to traditional motor yachts of this size.

About SÁSTA

SÁSTA is an exceptional example of the Lagoon SEVENTY 8, originally sold new by Heitmann Marin AS and delivered to her current and only owner in December 2021.

Powered by twin John Deere N13-580 HP engines, she has since delivery been professionally cared for by a permanent four-person crew and maintained to the highest standards. Full documentation and comprehensive maintenance records are available. The yacht is presented in exceptional condition, clearly reflecting the continuous professional care she has received since new.

SÁSTA features the highly desirable Owner’s Version layout, with particular emphasis on the owner’s private accommodation. One of its most spectacular features is the signature private balcony/terrace door from the master suite, opening the hull side directly to the sea and creating the owner’s own private waterside terrace.

In addition to the master suite, the yacht offers three guest cabins, together with dedicated crew quarters with four berths in 2 cabins.

A proven history of professional ownership and management

Having originally supplied SÁSTA new, Heitmann Marin AS has an in-depth knowledge of the yacht and her history, from the initial specification and delivery through to the present day.

Throughout her entire service history, SÁSTA has been professionally managed by Invisible Crew, the same yacht management company responsible for her operations today. This continuity has ensured a consistent and professional approach to the yacht’s operation, maintenance and care.

SÁSTA operates with a permanent crew of four and is managed to an exceptionally high professional standard. Her owners have been extremely satisfied with both the yacht and her crew, reflecting the successful ownership experience and the high level of care she has received throughout her life.

The combination of single ownership from new, continuous professional management, a dedicated crew, comprehensive maintenance history and the highly desirable Owner’s Version layout makes SÁSTA a particularly attractive opportunity within the SEVENTY 8 market.

An exceptional opportunity in Palma de Mallorca

The yacht is based in Palma de Mallorca, where a highly attractive and centrally located berth may be available to the new owner.

For a buyer seeking a complete and seamless transition, SÁSTA may also be delivered with her highly professional and experienced crew, who know the yacht intimately.

This presents a rare opportunity to acquire not only an exceptionally well-maintained Lagoon SEVENTY 8, but also an established operational setup for immediate continued use and enjoyment in the Mediterranean.

We take pride in our happy customers

We had an outstanding experience working with Andrew Hodgdon to find our dream boat, an Outremer 52.

We were actually referred to him by several different people—clients who had been very happy working with him, as well as boat owners who were planning to use him to sell their own boats. After working with Andrew ourselves, we completely understand why he came so highly recommended.

We worked with him for several months, and from start to finish, he was exceptional. Andrew is incredibly knowledgeable and truly an expert when it comes to performance catamarans. He took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for, was always responsive and organized, and never made us feel pressured throughout the process.

Andrew went above and beyond to arrange showings for us in multiple states and even traveled to another state to be there with us for the sea trial. His expertise and guidance gave us tremendous confidence as we evaluated such a significant purchase.

The entire process could have been overwhelming, but he made it remarkably smooth. He was on top of every detail and made the paperwork and closing process easy, working seamlessly with his team at The Multihull Company.

What impressed us most was that he genuinely had our best interests in mind. And his support didn’t end when the sale was completed. He has continued to stay in touch and has made it clear that he is still available to help us if we ever need him. That kind of follow-through is rare and speaks volumes about the kind of broker he is.

Buying an Outremer 52 was a huge decision and a major investment, and having someone with his knowledge, experience, responsiveness, and integrity made the entire experience so much easier and more enjoyable.

We couldn’t recommend Andrew Hodgdon more highly. If you’re looking for a yacht broker—especially if you’re considering a performance catamaran—we would choose him again without hesitation. The fact that so many people recommended him to us was the reason we called him, and after working with him, we would be one of those people recommending him to others.

— Dana Mulay

I highly recommend Andrew Hodgdon. He served as our buyers broker. He is responsive, highly knowledgeable and very experienced. He is also an excellent guide and counselor before, during and after the boat purchase process. If you are looking for a good-sailing cat, he seems to collect most of the available boats on the better-sailing side of the market. Top marks.

— Chris Duckworth

Andrew did an excellent job getting me started on my new adventures. Worked with my conflicting schedule. Is very knowledgeable in the catamaran industry. 😎

— Corbin Massey

I recently sold my Lagoon 450 with the Multihull Team. I would highly recommend their services. The professionalism and personal treatment I received was greatly appreciated.

Great Service, Great People
Helped me through the process.
I would go through them again in a future purchase.
