About

After launching more than a few hundred Lagoon 410s since its first introduction in 1997, Lagoon now introduces the 2003 Lagoon 410. Modifications to the Lagoon 410 have been made in many areas - ergonomics, comfort, maneuverability - and this version has even more standard equipment. All primary sail control lines, including the main halyard and reefing lines, are now brought back to the cockpit where the winch increases the ease, efficiency and safety of managing mainsail loads. Movement between the steering station, the cockpit and the main salon remains free and open. The large chart table and comprehensive navigation station, the immense main salon with its unique panoramic view, and the large L-shaped galley show clearly that the Lagoon 410 is designed for a long and comfortable cruise. The Owner's version of the boat has three cabins with the starboard hull a veritable apartment dedicated entirely to the comfort of the captain. With the addition of a sliding door, privacy for the owner's suite has been maximized while opening up the stateroom area with its queen-sized bed, desk with bookcases, dressing area, toilet and bathroom with separate full-sized shower. If you are looking for a 40 foot secondhand cruising catamaran, the 410 should be on your list. She matches the 380 as a classic catamaran design. They built less of the 410,  it is difficult to find one this nice. The extra length and stability of the 410 over the 380 is worth considering

Main Description
The Lagoon 410 is a French sailboat that was designed by Van Peteghem/Lauriot-Prevost as a cruiser and first built in 1997.

The boat replaced the 1994 Lagoon 42 in the company product line and the original 410 was replaced by an updated version, the Lagoon 410-S2.

Production
The design was built by in France Jeanneau’s Lagoon catamaran division, which was later sold to Construction Navale Bordeaux (CNB) and is now part of Beneteau. It was built from 1997 to 2006, with 283 boats completed.

The Lagoon 410 is a recreational sailing catamaran, built predominantly of polyester fiberglass, with some sections from fiberglass sandwich. It has a fractional sloop rig, with a deck-stepped mast, one set of diamond swept spreaders and aluminum spars with continuous stainless steel wire rigging. The hulls have slightly raked stems, reverse transoms with steps, twin internally mounted spade-type rudders controlled by a wheel and twin fixed keels. It displaces 15,961 lb. (7,240 kg).

The 410 has a draft of 3.94 ft with the standard keels.

Fitted with twin diesel engines of 27 hp each, easy for docking and maneuvering. The fuel tank holds 53 U.S. gallons and the freshwater tank has a capacity of 12 U.S. gallons.

The boat was produced with several different interior arrangements for private owners, or yacht charter use. Typically, it has sleeping accommodation for eight people, with a double berth in the bow and stern of each hull. The central salon has an L-shaped settee and a straight settee. The galley is located on the starboard side of the salon. The galley is equipped with a two-burner stove, an ice box and a double sink. A navigation station is opposite the galley, on the port side. The boat may be equipped with two to four heads, each located in the hulls. Cabin maximum headroom is 69 in.

For sailing downwind the design may be equipped with a symmetrical spinnaker of 1,163 sq ft.

The design has a hull speed of 8.29 kts

A catamaranreviews.com review concluded, “the Lagoon 410 catamaran is a good, budget choice for family offshore sailing. It is comfortably equipped, has enough storage space and follows an easy layout. Some minor adjustments can further help customize the boat to fully meet the owner’s expectations.

A review on katamarans.com stated, “the 410 is pleasant to sail, with good handling in a seaway and moderate pitching. On most points of sail you are well protected. She is an easy boat to sail shorthanded

In a 2018 review Daniella Wender wrote, “if you are looking for a vessel that’s stable, well equipped and comfortable for a sailing expedition, the Lagoon 410 catamaran is the ideal choice. Whether the sea is calm or somewhat rough, this toy will always give the experience you are looking for. It is simply one of the best catamaran yachts to take for a weeklong sailing expedition.

We take pride in our happy customers

Chuck at The Multihull Company is the real deal.
He helped us find our Lagoon 40 after genuinely listening to what we needed, not just what he had to sell. He let us visit the boat multiple times, answered every question honestly, and helped us make a confident decision on a major purchase.
What impressed us most was the post-sale support. Once the paperwork was signed, Chuck was still picking up the phone, offering referrals, and helping us work through the early stages of liveaboard life. That kind of follow-through is rare.
If you are looking for a multihull and want someone who knows the boats and actually cares about the outcome, Chuck is the person to call.

— Richard Chandler

We just purchased a 2025 Nautitech 44 Open with The Multihull Company. The process of getting here has been great, and we could not have asked for a better agent. We worked with Conor, whom we met at the 2025 Cannes Boat Show. We started our search for a cruising catamaran in Florida at the beginning of the year. We spent a couple of months looking at different boats/models within our price range and quickly narrowed it down to what really mattered to us, in part thanks to the wealth of knowledge and expertise our broker provided. When we found a perfect match in Montenegro, Conor and The Multihull Company did not hesitate to continue supporting us and to lead the efforts from start to finish with great care and transparency. Communication and support have been outstanding throughout this entire process. Conor, in particular, showed great compassion and care, going above and beyond to ensure that no stone was left unturned and that we would be able to safely and happily sail off into our big adventure.

A sale well handled. No inflated expectations and an honest opinion throughout. Highly recommended.

Absolutely THE ONLY company to use for buying or selling a catamaran! Our Broker Andrew Hodgdon, was excellent to work with, an experienced catamaran captain with extensive knowledge of sailing catamarans, the ins and outs of the construction, performance, systems, everything involved and life on board catamarans. All of which is invaluable in looking for the right boat for someone to buy or helping market your boat when selling. The Multihull Company is so connected in the catamaran world and used by so many catamaran sailors and searchers that we had an interested buyer before our boat was even listed and a completed sale 60 days after her first showing!!! Thanks Andrew and all of the Multihull team who worked diligently to make it happen so smoothly!

— Linda W.

We had a great experience working with Andrew! He was extremely knowledgeable and listened to our needs of what we wanted our next boat to be. He responded quickly to all of our requests and got us to the finish line. Working with Multihull was seamless and we highly recommend using Andrew and Multihull.
