About this Longreach 58 Expedition

2024 58' Power Catamaran — Exceptional Long-Range Cruising & Luxury

Offering 4000 nautical miles at 8kts this exceptional 58' (17.7 m) power catamaran is designed for comfortable long-range cruising, extended stays aboard, and serious offshore adventure. With a generous 23' (7.6 m) beam, 5.58' (1.7 m) draft, and 34-ton fully loaded displacement, with the top speed of 21kn, she offers an impressive combination of stability, volume and capability.

Powered by twin 440 HP Yanmar diesel engines with shaft drive and Python Drives, producing 880 HP total. An impressive 8,800 L (2,323 US gal) fuel capacity supports extended-range cruising, while 3,000 L (792 US gal) of freshwater capacity and a 160 L/hr automatic Stellar watermaker provide excellent independence.

The hotel load, including air conditioning, is powered through the inverter system and lithium battery bank, resulting in no generator noise.

Comfort is provided by 90,000 BTU Frigomar air conditioning and a 12 kW Eberspächer diesel hydronic heating system serving the saloon and cabins. The fully enclosed aft cockpit features electric windows, screening and sliding doors, while the fully enclosed flybridge provides a second comfortable living and entertaining area with twin helm seats, daybed, lounge, dining table, bar, sink, refrigerator, cabinetry, chart table and pop-up TV.

Accommodation includes three queen staterooms, three showers, and three toilets. The galley is equipped with premium Miele appliances, including a four-burner induction cooktop, downdraft extractor, combi steam oven, dishwasher, warming drawer, and vacuum sealer. Full-size Liebherr refrigerator and freezer, a Liebherr bar refrigerator and Bosch washer/dryer complete the extensive onboard amenities.

Navigation and communications equipment includes dual 19" Raymarine displays, radar, FLIR thermal camera and multiple cameras. Dockmate control provides convenient vessel maneuvering.

For serious water activities, she carries a 4.3 m (14') inflatable tender with console, radio, chartplotter, underwater blue lights and a 50 HP Mercury four-stroke outboard. A Bauer dive compressor and tanks, dedicated dive storage, fishing rod locker, toy storage and two 350 kg hydraulic cranes add exceptional capability.

Additional highlights include an 80 kg Ultra stainless-steel anchor, Muir anchor winch, electric aft platform, large forward storage lockers, Portuguese bow deck with flybridge access, filtered drinking water, exterior shower, and extensive storage throughout.

A highly equipped and thoughtfully outfitted 58' power catamaran offering the space, systems, comfort and independence sought by experienced cruisers.

The vessel also comes with Beaching Keels that allows settling on beaches for convenient hull cleaning, maintenance, and inspections.

We take pride in our happy customers

We had an outstanding experience working with Andrew Hodgdon to find our dream boat, an Outremer 52.

We were actually referred to him by several different people—clients who had been very happy working with him, as well as boat owners who were planning to use him to sell their own boats. After working with Andrew ourselves, we completely understand why he came so highly recommended.

We worked with him for several months, and from start to finish, he was exceptional. Andrew is incredibly knowledgeable and truly an expert when it comes to performance catamarans. He took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for, was always responsive and organized, and never made us feel pressured throughout the process.

Andrew went above and beyond to arrange showings for us in multiple states and even traveled to another state to be there with us for the sea trial. His expertise and guidance gave us tremendous confidence as we evaluated such a significant purchase.

The entire process could have been overwhelming, but he made it remarkably smooth. He was on top of every detail and made the paperwork and closing process easy, working seamlessly with his team at The Multihull Company.

What impressed us most was that he genuinely had our best interests in mind. And his support didn’t end when the sale was completed. He has continued to stay in touch and has made it clear that he is still available to help us if we ever need him. That kind of follow-through is rare and speaks volumes about the kind of broker he is.

Buying an Outremer 52 was a huge decision and a major investment, and having someone with his knowledge, experience, responsiveness, and integrity made the entire experience so much easier and more enjoyable.

We couldn’t recommend Andrew Hodgdon more highly. If you’re looking for a yacht broker—especially if you’re considering a performance catamaran—we would choose him again without hesitation. The fact that so many people recommended him to us was the reason we called him, and after working with him, we would be one of those people recommending him to others.

— Dana Mulay

I highly recommend Andrew Hodgdon. He served as our buyers broker. He is responsive, highly knowledgeable and very experienced. He is also an excellent guide and counselor before, during and after the boat purchase process. If you are looking for a good-sailing cat, he seems to collect most of the available boats on the better-sailing side of the market. Top marks.

— Chris Duckworth

Great Service, Great People
