Chuck d’Hemecourt started sailing Lasers and Sunfish at the age of six in Maryland and Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire. From that early age, he found himself drawn to adventures harnessing the wind and waves, always seeking to push the limits of his boats in a variety of conditions. Chuck has spent his whole life focused on pursuing a deeper connection to nature through outdoor adventures such as backcountry skiing, mountain biking, climbing, and whitewater kayaking.
Since moving to Florida in 2020, his focus has been redirected to exploring coastlines for the best surf breaks. But the pinnacle of his adventures has always been his pursuit of sailing. In recent years, he has crewed several offshore yacht deliveries on large cruising catamarans, which led to his desire for a profession in the yachting industry.
Chuck brings an enthusiastic and fresh perspective to the sailing world, coupled with a determination and dedication to helping clients find the perfect vessel to meet their individual needs. Based out of the renowned cruising crossroads of St Augustine, FL, Chuck is perfectly positioned to offer his clients comprehensive access to the world of multihulls. Chuck now joins TMC’s growing team of experts in the north Florida region to help clients with the purchase or sale of their dream catamaran.
I chose Zee (Zvonimir Kalinic) after posting an ad for a broker on Yacht Sales from about 15 other brokers because he showed professionalism and care right away compared to the others. Most of the brokers never intended to show people my boat but yet somehow expected to collect commission. Zee met me in Novigrad and spent 3 hours taking photos and drone footage and throughout the listing period was communicating continuously and advising me about any offers that came through. His service was at a high standard that I was extremely happy with and felt comfortable at all times especially since I’m in Sydney and my boat is in Montenegro. I can’t recommend Zee highly enough to anyone looking to sell their boat with peace of mind.
The brokerage team has been amazing. They helped me find the right catamaran for our family of four, with enough space for extended family and friends to stay with us anytime.
