Multihulls Northwest is operated by Matthew Dunning. Matthew brings fifteen years experience cruising multihulls on Puget Sound and points north to the TMC brokerage team. Along with his practical knowledge of multihull designs and seamanship, Matthew is a graduate of Dartmouth College with a degree in Geography. He has an intimate knowledge of the Northwest’s unique maritime geography that he describes as, “One of the world’s most beautiful, intricate, and extensive cruising grounds. The joys of which are advantageously and endlessly displayed to the owner of a cruising multihull.”

Townsend Bay Marine

The Multihull Company has selected Townsend Bay Marine as its preferred West Coast maintenance, warrantee and repair facility for Catana, Dolphin, and Dean catamarans.

Townsend Bay Marine is the yard of choice on the West Coast for repairs, refits, and marine construction and offers a host of resources to multihull owners. It is served by the Port Townsend Shipyard’s 330 ton Marine Travelift accepting beams to 30’ 10”. The facilities include heated indoor repair and construction yards for vessels to 65’ of vertical clearance and 150’ in length. The staff of 50 skilled carpenters, laminators, mechanics, electricians, finishers, painters, and project managers provide all of the disciplines necessary to build, refit, and maintain sophisticated multihulls.

Townsend Bay Marine is situated in protected waters at the confluence of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Admiralty Inlet in the historic maritime community of Port Townsend. Convenient to The Multihull Company offices on Bainbridge Island, Port Townsend is a hub of the Northwest sailing community serving voyagers off the Pacific and the sailing communities of Seattle, Vancouver, Victoria, the San Juans, and Gulf Islands.
