About
This late model Lagoon 440 Owner's Version is one of the most continuously upgraded, continuously cruised, and continuously cared for Lagoon 440s on the market. She was first owned by a fastidious Swiss dentist and his spouse who prepared her carefully and sailed her from Germany across the Atlantic, exploring the Caribbean, tranisting Panama, exploring the South Pacific, taking the Pacific Gyre over Hawaii to Alaska and then the Inside Passage to Washington State. She was exquisitely cared for then. I sold her to a retiring Northwest doctor and his spouse who sailed her between Washington and Alaska exploring the intricacies of the Inside Passage for 5 years. They kept her in excellent highly upgraded condition. She sparked a bidding war when I sold her to the current owners. Expense was not spared. She was again extensively upgraded and readied for blue water. She departed down the coast and left North America for French Polynesia. Check out the extensive preparation and additions done in 2022 (new sails, electronics, standing & rigging, heads, dinghy, anchor, windlass, and more. . . and extensive cruising spares. . . and now new saildrives, cushions, bottom paint, and maintenance in 2024). She has returned from the South Pacific and is currently in Honolulu, Hawaii and will soon be returning to her mooring in Lahaina Roadstead, Maui (rare Hawaiian permitted mooring available at additional cost). This is exactly the sort of catamaran you can step aboard now with the knowledge that you have a head start on the cruising experience. She is positioned in Hawaii and you will have your choice of cruising grounds. Go over the top of the Pacific High and explore the Aleutians, Alaska, and the Inside Passage. Drop down to Christmas Island and Kiribati and back to French Polynesia, Samoa, Fiji, New Zealand, or Australia. Or hang a left and head back to Panama. She has always been actively cruised, always been upgraded, always been cared for and always kept ready-to-go. Where will she take you? Contact Matthew today.
Andrew Hodgdon at The Multihull Company was instrumental in our recent boat purchase. Andrew’s experience with performance catamarans was a key reason why we were comfortable and his straightforward communication style was very much appreciated when so much is at stake. We had a very fast viewing to close timeline on the other side of the country and Andrew always took our calls and responded quickly even with time differences which mattered a lot. We’re very happy with the outcome and Andrew played a crucial role.
I chose Zee (Zvonimir Kalinic) after posting an ad for a broker on Yacht Sales from about 15 other brokers because he showed professionalism and care right away compared to the others. Most of the brokers never intended to show people my boat but yet somehow expected to collect commission. Zee met me in Novigrad and spent 3 hours taking photos and drone footage and throughout the listing period was communicating continuously and advising me about any offers that came through. His service was at a high standard that I was extremely happy with and felt comfortable at all times especially since I’m in Sydney and my boat is in Montenegro. I can’t recommend Zee highly enough to anyone looking to sell their boat with peace of mind.
The brokerage team has been amazing. They helped me find the right catamaran for our family of four, with enough space for extended family and friends to stay with us anytime. The broker really helped me narrow down what I needed. I started with a long list and eventually narrowed it down to something that was the right fit and price for me.
