About
The 2015 Catana 47 "Zoi" was originally purchased with nearly every possible upgrade and then sailed from France to the US where we sold the boat to her second owners in 2018.
The second owners spared no expense outfitting the boat to take them and their two young children around the world. They did a shake-down cruise to the Bahamas in 2019, returned to the US, did an additional $100k plus in upgrades to the boat in Florida and three months later the boat was dropped off its stands when it was getting a bottom job. The previous owners successfully fought the insurance company for the right to walk away from the vessel, and the insurance company then sold the vessel to the current owners who completed and documented all repairs..
From November of 2021 to March of 2022, the current owners worked to make the boat structurally sound and all systems working properly. In March of 2022, ABYC surveyors were hired to survey the boat. The boat was determined to be properly repaired and as structurally sound as the day she was built (survey available)
The boat was splashed on July 5, 2022 where work continued on additional systems that needed attention. In November of 2022, the rigging was inspected and deemed in good condition. (Survey available) On December 10th, 2022 the current owners set sail with her to the Bahamas and onward in their journey.
The current owners have now completed their journey's with "Zoi" and she is back available for the most discerning sailors looking for a carbon-infused performance catamaran.
I had the pleasure of working with Chuck during the survey of a catamaran. He was fantastic—he has extensive knowledge of catamarans and was always open and attentive to my questions and concerns throughout the process. His professionalism and insight made the day smooth and productive. I would highly recommend Chuck to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and approachable broker.
Dear Cynthia and Andrew,
I wanted to extend my sincere thanks to both of you and The Multihull Company team for the outstanding job you did in successfully closing the sale of our Excess 14. Despite the challenging environment — including new import tariffs and unique buyer requirements — you navigated everything with professionalism, perseverance, and efficiency.
The transaction was completed smoothly and in good time, which is a true credit to your dedication and expertise. Very well done.
Thank you again, and I wish you all the very best.
Warm regards,
Jurgen
We had an outstanding experience working with Andrew Hodgdon. From the very beginning, he demonstrated deep knowledge of the catamaran we were considering and took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for. He found us the perfect vessel that matched our needs and budget and negotiated a fantastic deal on our behalf.
What truly set him apart was he responsiveness—every question we had was answered promptly and thoroughly, and he guided us through the entire process with professionalism and care. We couldn’t be happier with the service and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated yacht broker.
Awesome company that worked as my brokerage on purchasing out FP catamaran. A special shoutout to Will Miller for walking us through the process
The process of selling our boat was made very smooth by the Multihull Company and Andrew Hodgdon in particular. Andrew helped us navigate the selling process including moving our boat from Grenada to Florida to execute the sale. We would recommend working with this company, and Andrew Hodgdon in particular, without hesitation.
