Taka Oa is a superbly maintained example of the renowned Dolphin 460 Catamaran. She has been in the TMC Family since new and she is one of the finest examples of this model on the water today. Her current owners purchased her in 2011, crossed the Pacific in 2012 and brought the boat back to Australia where they kept her until 2017. Prior to leaving Australia, the owners replaced all rigging onboard the boat, purchased new props and brought her to Thailand from 2017 to 2019. They then shipped the boat to Turkey in 2019 where they had one season sailing the Aegean Sea before Covid hit and the owners needed to return home to Australia. Her owners returned to the boat in March 2022 where they have done an in depth service on the boat as well as the engines, saildrive and props. Taka Oaalso features a unique L-shaped salon couch that modernizes her interior compared to all other Dolphin 460s on the market today and makes for a more practical arrangement with her adjustable height table which makes a great day bed.
