About

"LADY G"
2020 Fountaine Pajot MY44 (MY 6) | Owner’s Layout + Optional 4th Cabin
"Lady G" is the most luxuriously customized F-P MY44 (MY 6). A true luxury power catamaran with the volume of a 60–65' monohull.
There are well-equipped yachts, and then there is "Lady G". This 2020 Fountaine Pajot MY44 is a first-rate, stylish motor yacht catamaran—Italian design, French naval architecture, and a specification that has been taken well beyond factory standard. Highly customized, meticulously maintained, and fitted with newer Volvo pod drives within the last two years, she is gorgeous and ready to go. The MY44 was never a sailing cat with engines fitted later. She was conceived as a true motor yacht: hulls by Daniel Andrieu, exterior and interior by Pierangelo Andreani, the Italian architect known for luxury design. The brief was simple and ambitious—deliver the living space of a 60–65 foot monohull inside a 44-foot power catamaran, with stability, efficiency, and the easy manners of Volvo IPS.She delivers. ⚡
Living like a second homeStep aboard and the scale is immediately apparent. A wide hydraulic platform becomes a private beach️.  Newer synthetic teak runs through the aft cockpit, flybridge, and foredeck cockpit, giving the decks a clean, finished look that is both elegant and practical. New custom high-end exterior cushions dress the outdoor living areas. The aft cockpit is centered on a luxurious custom table; forward, a dedicated foredeck table and bow sunshade with carbon-fiber rod supports create a second outdoor salon in the breeze. ☀️The cockpit opens directly into a bright, open saloon and galley—one continuous living terrace rather than a series of rooms. Light pours through the panoramic glass. The galley is properly equipped for real cooking: induction cooktop, combination microwave/convection oven, full-size fridge/freezer with ice maker, dishwasher, Seagull filtration, and a Quattro inverter/charger to run the induction hob without compromise. Above, the flybridge is a destination in its own right: hardtop bimini, dining table, dedicated galley furniture, fridge, grill, sun lounge, and an aft sunshade. It is a terrace over the sea—for breakfast at anchor, long lunches underway, or sunset with friends. Foredeck cushions, courtesy lighting, grab rails, and a hot-water deck shower complete the outdoor life. This is not a weekender. It is a floating residence that happens to cruise.

️ Owner’s apartment, guest suites, and a fourth cabinThe layout is the luxurious owner’s arrangement with the optional additional forward cabin.

  • Port hull: your private apartment—ensuite, sea views, full-length mirror on the stateroom door, 40" television, and the quiet midships berth position where motion is least.
  • Starboard hull: two magnificent guest/VIP cabins, each with sea views and ensuite heads. ✨
  • Forward: the optional fourth cabin, adding flexibility for family, guests, or crew without sacrificing the owner’s privacy.
Freshwater electric heads, tropical air conditioning ❄️ (60,000 BTU throughout), 12V Caframo fans in the cabins, and waterproof 110V outlets in the heads make living aboard as comfortable in the tropics as in cooler waters. A washer/dryer and an Isotherm safe are already aboard.

⚙️ Performance with poiseThe MY44’s hulls were drawn specifically for Volvo IPS. Twin IPS 600s (435 hp each) give fingertip docking via joysticks at the flybridge and a third controller in the aft cockpit, plus Volvo Dynamic Positioning Hold. Newer pod drives fitted within the last two years add confidence where it matters most. She is stable at speed and at rest, quiet underway, and efficient enough for serious range—on the order of 2,000 nautical miles at economical displacement speeds, with a top end in the mid-20-knot range. Driving her is part of the pleasure: Garmin Smart Cruising with IPS pilot, AIS, twin 12" GPSMAP displays, 4' 4kW open-array radar, Live View sonar, aft camera, autopilot remote, second VHF handset, and a searchlight. Four flush-mount rod holders and integrated tackle boxes hint that she can fish as easily as she can entertain.
Independence and finish"Lady G" is specified to stay off the dock. Spectra Catalina 340Z watermaker, 3 x 365W solar panels ☀️ with three controllers, additional AGM battery, Link Pro battery monitor, Gold-version 3000W/70A charger-inverter plus Quattro, 75-liter water heater, pressurized seawater, and cockpit freshwater outlet. KVH HD7 serves two televisions. Bose audio-video throughout saloon, cockpit, and flybridge, with a 40" saloon TV, eyebrow speakers, and zone amp. Underwater lights, digital TV antenna, and extensive extra 110V/USB outlets complete a yacht that is ready for extended cruising, not just day trips. Gold Version factory equipment is already on board: outdoor comforts, flybridge and cockpit amenities, courtesy lighting, windlass control and chain counter at the fly helm (plus Quick up/down switch), and more. Custom touches—new high-end exterior cushions, luxurious aft cockpit table, foredeck table, carbon-supported bow sunshade, newer synthetic teak on the three main outdoor decks, grab rails port and starboard forward, beige PVC interior upholstery—show an owner who specified the boat to live on, not merely to look at.

⭐ Why this Fountaine Pajot MY 44 (MY 6)
Owner’s four-cabin layout. IPS 600 package with newer pods. Tropical air. Watermaker. Solar. Hydraulic platform. Custom outdoor living at a level most MY44s never reach—new high-end cushions, custom tables, carbon bow shade, and fresh synthetic teak. Maintained at a high level throughout. "Lady G" is one of the most complete, most thoughtfully personalized examples of the model—stylish, stable, enormous, and genuinely turn-key. She is the rare 44-foot motor yacht that does not feel like a compromise. She feels like the house you always wanted: highly customized, beautifully kept, gorgeous, and ready to go.

We take pride in our happy customers

We had an outstanding experience working with Andrew Hodgdon to find our dream boat, an Outremer 52.

We were actually referred to him by several different people—clients who had been very happy working with him, as well as boat owners who were planning to use him to sell their own boats. After working with Andrew ourselves, we completely understand why he came so highly recommended.

We worked with him for several months, and from start to finish, he was exceptional. Andrew is incredibly knowledgeable and truly an expert when it comes to performance catamarans. He took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for, was always responsive and organized, and never made us feel pressured throughout the process.

Andrew went above and beyond to arrange showings for us in multiple states and even traveled to another state to be there with us for the sea trial. His expertise and guidance gave us tremendous confidence as we evaluated such a significant purchase.

The entire process could have been overwhelming, but he made it remarkably smooth. He was on top of every detail and made the paperwork and closing process easy, working seamlessly with his team at The Multihull Company.

What impressed us most was that he genuinely had our best interests in mind. And his support didn’t end when the sale was completed. He has continued to stay in touch and has made it clear that he is still available to help us if we ever need him. That kind of follow-through is rare and speaks volumes about the kind of broker he is.

Buying an Outremer 52 was a huge decision and a major investment, and having someone with his knowledge, experience, responsiveness, and integrity made the entire experience so much easier and more enjoyable.

We couldn’t recommend Andrew Hodgdon more highly. If you’re looking for a yacht broker—especially if you’re considering a performance catamaran—we would choose him again without hesitation. The fact that so many people recommended him to us was the reason we called him, and after working with him, we would be one of those people recommending him to others.

I highly recommend Andrew Hodgdon. He served as our buyers broker. He is responsive, highly knowledgeable and very experienced. He is also an excellent guide and counselor before, during and after the boat purchase process. If you are looking for a good-sailing cat, he seems to collect most of the available boats on the better-sailing side of the market. Top marks.
