The Multihull Company is pleased to announce the opening of its new offices in Mooloolaba with agent Ian Douglas.
Multihulls Australia, situated in the heart of downtown Mooloolaba, is right on the water at Mooloolaba Marina.
The office is managed by associate broker Ian Douglas, who has been around water his whole life. Ian is a Kiwi who started sailing on the East Coast of New Zealand in 1973 when his new wife suggested he should get a hobby. Since then he has competed in many races, cruises and delivery`s on many different types of Yachts in many parts of the World. Moving to the UK in 1976, Ian worked for Jaguar Yachts UK at the Earls Court London Boat Show. The show was an outstanding success for Jaguar and Ian was appointed marketing manager for the Company. One of His Clients was setting up a new flotilla sailing holiday operation in Greece and asked Ian to play a role in this set up. Hundreds of yachts later, and enough stories to fill a book, Sailing Holidays is still the largest of it`s type in the World.
Returning to NZ some years later, more racing, various roles in the marine industry, and a move to Australia saw Ian owning a successful Brokerage and Marina Management Company which owned for 25 years. Ian`s business philosophy is that there should be three happy people at the end of every boat sale, Seller, Buyer and Broker. He ensures that this is the end result of every transaction he conducts. TMC Australia is well positioned to assist with importation, berthing, sale and all the other issues that need attention when you arrive under sail in a new country.
