Chris Spencer

Chris Spencer brings a lifetime of hands-on experience with boats and a trusted reputation among catamaran owners to his role as a yacht broker with The Multihull Company. The son of a boat builder, Chris grew up learning plug and mold manufacturing at a prominent sailboat manufacturer. His career soon carried him offshore, where he completed sailing deliveries between the U.S. East Coast and the Caribbean, and later worked as a charter skipper in the British Virgin Islands.

Following Hurricane Hugo, Chris established a successful repair and refinishing business in the BVI that became a regional leader in specialized fiberglass repairs and innovative modifications. He went on to launch the first aftermarket “Bimini Hardtops” for Leopard Catamarans, a product line that set the foundation for Dedicated Marine, his U.S.-based marine products company. Today, Dedicated Marine is known worldwide for its aftermarket hardtop and solar solutions, supporting catamaran owners with upgrades that enhance safety, comfort, and long-term cruising goals.

Over decades, Chris has built deep relationships with catamaran owners—helping them from the moment they purchase their boats through upgrades for circumnavigation, charter programs, or simply enjoying life on the water. He has supported clients through warranty issues, major refits, and even storm and hurricane recovery, becoming a trusted advisor who knows these boats inside and out.
