2012 Leopard 39 Estrella Do Mar "Star of the Sea" is an owners version, 3 cabin, 2 head, catamaran.
"Estrella Do Mar," is a well-maintained catamaran that has only had three owners since new, and has never been chartered - and it shows.
Sold new to a local owner in South Africa, She spent her first 10 years in her birthplace, sailing the local waters of South Africa, until purchased in 2022 by an American couple who realized their lifelong dream of sailing across the Atlantic ocean. Before setting out on a major undertaking like crossing an ocean, Estrella Do Mar recieved some major upgrades to make the journey safe and sound. She received new standing rigging, new sails and stack pack, upgraded solar and 800 amp hours of new victron lithium batteries, as well as an extensive spares package so that most any problem at sea could be handled. Well-equipped with a northern lights 6.5KW generator, ample solar, 2 water makers,2 D400 wind generators ,2 air conditioners, life onboard is quite comfortable.
After crossing the Atlantic Ocean in November 2022, Estrella Do Mar arrived in Brazil. After exploring Brazil, she made her way north, up the eastern Caribbean island chain, ending at the US Virgin Islands. She was then sailed down to Grenada to be tucked away safe and sound for hurricane season, where the third and current owners purchased her, where they have been sailing, diving, and exploring the islands since 2024.
Estrella Do Mar is very self sufficient, making her own power and water, and even food if you like fishing.
Included in the sale is a Bauer PE100 dive compressor, 3 dive tanks, all scuba gear and equipment on board, as well as lobster snare, lion fish harvesting equipment, and some snorkel gear.
This boat is being sold truly turn key. All dive equipment, toys, fishing gear, tools, spares, linens, everything stays with the boat !!
