Mike grew up on the Delaware River and Jersey shore where he spent as much time as possible on the water wakeboarding, kite surfing, and surfing. It wasn’t until his late 20’s that he discovered sailing when he and his brother refit a Bob Perry monohull and sailed from New England to New Zealand.
After the trip across the Pacific, he knew a catamaran was in the cards. After years of saving and searching, Mike bought a 47’ Crowther cat in Panama. After an extensive refit, Mike, his wife, and young son live aboard and cruise their catamaran from New England to the Bahamas.
Mike is a 100T USCG captain and has most recently worked for SeaTow, where he handles assistance towing and recovery work. As a liveaboard and longtime sailor, Mike has a plethora of experience from which to draw. Now at TMC, Mike wants to use this vast knowledge to help his customers purchase or sell their catamaran, as well as offering his help finding docking in New England.
