The 2023 Matrix Yachts Silhouette 80 Sail Catamaran features a primary structure constructed using Epoxy GRP sandwich technology throughout. The core consists of high-density, closed-cell PVC foam that has been thermo-formed to reduce weight and eliminate square-cut edges, preventing moisture migration. All composite laminates utilize epoxy resin, are vacuum-consolidated, and undergo post-curing for enhanced strength.
