About
WabiSabi is a third generation Atlantic 49 Mastfoil catamaran. The patented MastFoil rig has the advantage of being one of the easiest designs to sail. The MastFoils are rigid sails that combined with self tacking jibs provide similar sailing performance to a conventional sloop rig without the difficulty of hoisting, reefing, gybing and furling a mainsail. With the touch of a button boat speed can be immediately speeded up or reduced as conditions warrant. Trimming the MastFoils in this manner can often eliminate the need to adjust sail area by roller reefing futher simplifying sailing tasks.
In addition there is a bowsprit with a single line furler and a screacher that can be set or stowed easily.
The forward cockpit provides excellent visibility and superb safety. All sailing and anchoring functions are easily accomplished from a central station.
When conditions warrant, retreat to the inside pilot house where there is a completely protected helm station with excellent visibility.
WabiSabi is constructed of vacuum bagged Epoxy-Vinylester resin and high performance glass fibre cored with PVC foam. Carbon fibre is used in all the high load areas. The aft hardtop is carbon fibre over foam. The hull is faired and finished with Alexseal linear polyurethane. The bottom features fixed keels built from glass over solid foam and attached to a finished hull. The keels can support the weight of the boat during breaching and protect the propellers and rudders.
All forward and side windows in the deck house are tempered glass for lifetime scratch and UV resistance.
All windows in the deck house have custom made blinds to help protect from extreme heat.
WabiSabi was built and equipped to the highest standard. She has sailed safely and comfortably from Patagonia to Maine. And has recorded at least one 24 hour run exceeding 260 nm. She is equipped ready to go anywhere in safety and comfort.

Awesome company that worked as my brokerage on purchasing out FP catamaran. A special shoutout to Will Miller for walking us through the process
The process of selling our boat was made very smooth by the Multihull Company and Andrew Hodgdon in particular. Andrew helped us navigate the selling process including moving our boat from Grenada to Florida to execute the sale. We would recommend working with this company, and Andrew Hodgdon in particular, without hesitation.
