About
Having been delivered just over 6 months ago, VAHEWA is the newest 70 Sunreef Power to be offered for sale in the world. Construction was overseen by a very experienced captain assuring proper quality control through every build stage with no details overlooked. VAHEWA is extremely well equipped and is being sold with a full assortment of tenders, toys and spare parts.
VAHEWA sleeps 8 guests in 4 cabins including a spacious master suite plus additional accommodations for 3 crew in 2 separate cabins. She has a galley down layout which leaves the entire main salon for entertaining & lounging. Her impressive beam of over 37’ allows for very high volume both on the interior & exterior deck spaces. The upper deck is highlighted by a substantial jacuzzi and her hard top allows for plenty of shade.
One of my favorite features is the forward terrace area complete with a full shade awning, lounge pads, accent lighting and sunken sitting area all of which has direct access from the main salon through a watertight door.
Timeless interior décor highlighted by walnut finishings with natural fabrics & earth tones giving an inviting, zen-like feeling throughout. VAHEWA is an extremely capable boat in a manageable platform. She has a top speed of 18 knots while her economical speed of 10 knots allows for an impressive range of 2,000nm.

Walkthrough
Stepping onboard VAHEWA for the first time and you immediately notice her 37ft (11.5m) beam which gives the impression you are on a much larger mono-hull.
Stairs lead up to the aft deck both to port and starboard with the passarelle located to port side. The aft deck has multiple areas to enjoy and feels very well laid out. You have a centerline table which in my opinion will be your most popular gathering place on board both for meals as well as lounging as it is surrounded by aft facing sunpads as well as a raised sunbed located to port. Opposite to starboard you have stairs leading to the upper deck, below the stairs is an exterior bar setup with fridge, ice machine and a sink. Full walk arounds to port and starboard lead to the bow.
To port stairs lead down to the lower galley which is very well appointed and has a large amount of natural light due to large windows in the hull. Opposite to starboard stairs lead down to what I would consider the VIP cabin. Depending on how many guests are onboard, this VIP can also be used as a substantial crew cabin as its conveniently located close to the galley. There are 2 designated crew cabins that sleep 3 at the bow area, but this layout allows for flexibility in how you utilize this aft cabin. The cabin is fully equipped with navigational equipment, vessel monitoring screen and a VHF radio.
Entering the main salon through large sliding doors you have a dining table located to starboard and to port a large settee. When the sliding doors are all the way open (with the flush deck) the interior and exterior spaces combine into one and this is where you can really appreciate that 37′ (11.5m) beam. All the way forward in the salon you have the main helm station and wet bar area complete with sink- with water purification faucet (hot, cold, sparkling)- refrigerator, ice machine, wine fridge, dishwasher and one of my favorite features which is a watertight door that leads to the bow terrace area. Due to the large windows your line of sight can continue all the way from the bow of the boat to the aft deck assuring all guests remain connected. The flow between the different designated areas works extremely well.
From the main salon you have direct access to 3 guest cabins all of which have a huge amount of natural light due to the large windows in the hull. Starting with the port side stairs lead down to 2 cabins both of which are en-suites. The satin finished American walnut finishings continue from the salon into the guest cabins and beautiful accent lighting surrounds both the headboards and underside of the beds. The built in wardrobe and hanging lockers are completed with a mirrored finish giving the impression the cabins are larger than they actually are and help to reflect the natural light.
Opposite to starboard a private staircase leads down to the master suite and I love how the master is isolated for privacy purpose. One of the main reasons the master cabin stands apart from the other suites is due to the size of the bathroom which has both his and hers sinks and spacious walk-in shower. The cabin itself has additional storage, vanity and a larger floor plan. She’s also located exactly midship which is the most comfortable location on the vessel when underway.
Stepping through that forward water tight door in the salon located inboard of the main helm station you reach the bow terrace complete with lounge pads and a sunken sitting area. The entire area really pops at night with accent lighting or can be fully shaded in the day with a full sun awning- great space to enjoy at anchor or when underway to get that breeze in your face.
The entire interior décor is highlighted by American walnut wood in a matted finish complimented by earth tones and fabrics that really give a timeless, zen feeling throughout. The owner wanted an inviting interior style that also felt sophisticated and Sunreef has definitely achieved that goal.
Heading up on those aft deck stairs you reach the sundeck. An expansive hard top provides ample shade for the smaller second help, as well as another dining area with substantial teak table, chairs and built in bench seating. Centerline back aft is a glass jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads as well as some built in storage, a refrigerator, ice machine and sink. This level also holds a deck freezer (12.5 cubit feet) to port and a matching dock box which holds 180 liters of petrol in 20 liter stainless steel jerry cans.
VAHEWA is the premier Sunreef Power for sale in the world having only been delivered in the past few months. She is currently cruising the Mediterranean with owners and guests onboard and will relocate to the South of France for the month of September where she will be available for showings during the Cannes and Monaco Yacht Shows. Skip the 2 year wait and take advantage of this opportunity to purchase a ‘new’ properly commissioned 70 Sunreef Power.

It’s been a few weeks now and the dust has settled. We had a great experience with the Multihull Company and in particular our broker, Caroline Laviolette. Caroline was happy to share her knowledge of the market and the catamarans we were interested in purchasing. She was patient and thorough as we looked at several boats in SE Florida, helped us narrow our search and eventually purchase a beautiful 2017 Lagoon 42. Many thanks to the team at The Multihull Company!
We had a great experience purchasing our boat with Will Miller as a buyers agent. Purchasing our first large Cat is a daunting experience and Will was able to walk us through the process with ease. Will was very straight forward and constantly gave us honest feedback as well as finding and pointing out details on all the boats that we may not have noticed or thought about.
We had a great experience and would use them again.
I would specifically recommend a buyers agent when purchasing to help weed through a lot of problems and misrepresented boats on the market.
We have had great experiences with the Multihull company. We both sold our old boat through them, and bought our new boat through them. I have to say that Will Miller is top-notch, and Riley was great as our broker for selling our O day 39. when you buy a Salt or Boat through them, I feel like you are not only clients, but you are friends. The lines of communication were always open and we were always informed of everything going on.
Riley, and the entire staff at The Multihull Company, were incredibly helpful and responsive in helping me find and purchase my catamaran. I was a first time purchaser and had many questions about the process and Riley was very responsive in answering those questions. I would recommend The Multihull Company to anyone in the market to purchase or sell their boat.
Successful relationships cannot exist without it. At The Multihull Company we base every relationship on a firm commitment to earning and retaining our client’s trust.
