Shelley Joyce

Yacht Broker

Shelley Joyce is a passionate sailor, entrepreneur, and world traveler. With roots in Southern California, her love of the ocean is interwoven into every facet of her life. She grew up on the sunny shores of San Diego, bodyboarding and sailing, and spent her holidays in Baja California, Mexico. She married young to a local surfer boy and, together, they raised three children who share their devotion to surfing, sailing, and diving.

Her family began bareboat chartering 40-50 foot catamarans over a decade ago and have extensively sailed the Mediterranean, Aegean, Adriatic, Ionian, Andaman, and Caribbean Seas as well as the Channel Islands and the Sea of Cortez. Her sailing experience includes considerable time aboard multiple models of catamarans and has provided her with an appreciation for the rich possibilities available when considering size, floorplan, gear, and sail options. Their love of sailing prompted Shelley to create a travel company that specializes in boutique, custom charters in desirable locations around the globe, which her husband captains. This unique opportunity to host guests has added an invaluable dimension of knowledge about catamaran sailing and liveaboard lifestyle.

Shelley and her husband are currently living aboard their beloved Lagoon 450 in the Caribbean and have spent the past year full-time on the water exploring the islands between Grenada and Puerto Rico. Their ensuing sailing journey entails cruising the southern Caribbean Islands, passage through the Panama Canal, voyaging the coast of Central America and Mexico, and a final destination of La Paz, Baja California, which still holds a special place in her heart.

In addition to being a sailor, Shelley is a small business owner and brings twenty years of expertise in sales, management, and customer service. She is grateful to be part of The Multihull Company and is passionate about utilizing her knowledge and expertise to connect sailors with their perfect sailing vessel.
