Excess is a gorgeous example of the Sunreef brand, renowned for their exceptional build quality and luxurious fit and finish.She has a 4 queen cabin layout with 2 additional crew cabins.All cabins, including the crew cabins, have full A/C and en suite showers and heads.The beautiful real wood bamboo finish on the interior gives her a warm and inviting feel throughout.The Port side forward bow locker is equipped with a complete workshop including tools and workbench. A custom bar and sink were added to the cockpit for a huge improvement to guest entrainment and comfort.Her factory options include a carbon fiber mast and park avenue boom.
Originally launched in Dec 2011 as hull # 9 of the Sunreef 70 series. Excess has sailed extensively throughout the Mediterranean and Caribbean.She has been consistently cared for by a professional crew and received comprehensive maintenance and yard periods, including a substantial refit in 2018.
For the past several years, Excess has been operating as a successful crewed charter yacht based in St Thomas, USVI.She typically operates with 8 guests in 4 queen cabins, with additional accommodations for 3 crew.She is a turnkey operation ready to continue being run as a crewed charter business or transitioned into private ownership.

The large, well-laid out galley features all the appliances necessary for a chef to turn out masterful cuisine.Ample counter space allows for plating of multi course meals for all 8 guests and crew.There is a huge amount of pantry and storage space as well.A full-sized fridge, two ovens, a double basin sink, dishwasher, and a large 4-burner stove make for a chefs dream galley.

I bought a yacht that I had never seen. I did this because I trusted my broker Andrew Holland. It was not an easy job for Andrew, as I am an experienced boat builder and owner of previous yachts, but work in West Africa. Imagine how hard it was to communicate what I was looking for. Andrew came up with exactly what I wanted. He dealt with time delays, all my questions at odd hours, and was there for the survey. He reported honestly and professionally.
