Entering through the glass sliding door aft, you step down into the spacious Salon including the Lower Helm Station with seat…Moving forward, the salon is centerline with a large U-shaped lounge and table that converts into a King Size berth…The Galley is down and midship in the port side hull along with one Stateroom aft…The Head & Shower is down and forward in the starboard side along with the Master Stateroom aft…Throughout the boat teak and holly flooring makes for a homey feel…Storage is also abundant with tons of cabinets and under floor dry storage
The Topside includes an enormous Flybridge area with Upper Helm Station, numerous storage lockers, wide walk- arounds and Transom Stairs on each hull…A swim ladder on the port side makes getting in and out of the water a breeze!
Galley
The Galley is well laid out and uses its space very efficiently…It is located midship in the port hull…The Galley is open to the Salon and Dinette area and provides good ventilation and ease in socializing with people in the Salon while performing Galley chores… There is a removable back cushion that further opens up the galley to the salon.
Salon
The Salon area of the MV/34 is one of her most appreciated features…With lots of large windows, excellent ventilation and comfortable seating, she is hard to beat…The Dinette Table drops down and makes a large almost king size berth…The seating back in front of galley can be removed to provide a nice pass through and more visibility into the galley… teak and holly flooring is used in all the traffic areas and under the salon table.
Staterooms
Each Stateroom features a Queen Size Berth, ventilation hatches and opening ports, large hanging & storage lockers…there is also “Hypervent” under each bed to keep air circulating and prevent condensation. Because the staterooms are located aft and are very well insulated you will find them to be very quiet, even in extreme weather conditions. The separate AC unit located between the two staterooms does an excellent job of keeping the stateroom cool or warm.
Head & Shower
The Head is located on the Starboard Side forward…It contains convenient storage spaces, electric toilet and the separate stall shower…
Electrical System
The PDQ 34 electrical system is exceptionally well designed for the cruise/liv aboard. The vessel is wired for both 12V and 120V with a 5KW generator and a 200W inverter standard items. The yacht comes with two 30 amp power cords for easy handling but because of the energy efficiency of the boat only one 30 amp cord is used 90% of the time. The generator is installed with a water gas separator so operation is extremely quiet.
Engine & Mechanical
The MV/34 is powered by Twin 75 HP Yanmar Diesels…This provides cruise speed of approximately 14 knts and a fuel burn of about 4.5 GPH…The current owner has maintained the boat in 100% mechanical condition since day 1. The 75 hp diesels are know for their reliability and very quiet smooth operation.
Electronics
This boat is very well equipped with the latest state-of-the-art NEMA 2000 electronics from Garmin (installed 2019). Both helm stations feature a color plotter, autopilot controls and a Garmin VHF radio.
Deck Equipment
The PDQ 34 is noted for its wide walk around decks, abundant storage forward in four separate storage compartments, and aluminum toe rail that is very practical and really protects the hull in a docking situation, four opening gates for ease of access, transom steps on both hulls for easy water access, and well designed, factory supplied dinghy davits. The generator is located in the port forward storage area and is completely accessible for ease of maintenance.

Your team delivered on every mark. You’ve got an amazing broker in Mark Wattrus and I’m confident you will have continued success moving forward together. He was available 24/7 whenever I had questions. We had a great initial visit on the boat and his marketing plan and photos were superb
I bought a yacht that I had never seen. I did this because I trusted my broker Andrew Holland. It was not an easy job for Andrew, as I am an experienced boat builder and owner of previous yachts, but work in West Africa. Imagine how hard it was to communicate what I was looking for. Andrew came up with exactly what I wanted. He dealt with time delays, all my questions at odd hours, and was there for the survey. He reported honestly and professionally. After buying the yacht, I arrived at the boat on a Sunday night, after dark, after travelling from West Africa to the Caribbean, and found it was better than expected. He never pulled punches and made me aware of shortfalls. I expected to spend my one month leave working on the boat, but actually spent less than one week, and was able to spend 3 weeks sailing – wonderful bonus.
Thank you Andrew for putting up with all my questions, all my worries and all my crazy out of the time zone concerns – you were totally professional, but also I know that if and when we meet up, it will be like a friend finally meeting. You are always welcome on Aseka.
Outstanding company with professional subject matter experts. If I were to buy or sell cruising sailboat, particularly a catamaran, Andrew would be my go to broker.
I have been sailing since I was a child and attended Massachusetts Maritime Academy. But when my wife and I began the process of purchasing an ocean cruising/racing catamaran, I realized that this is a world unto itself. Obviously, we needed to find someone knowledgeable to help us make an informed decision. More importantly, we needed someone honest and willing to put our interests before his or her own. I was lucky to work with Phil Berman at The Multihull Company. He repeatedly shunned the fast buck, choosing instead to work the long road to connect us with the “perfect boat”. I would be glad to recommend Phil and his company to anyone planning to purchase or sell a performance sailing machine.
Andrew Hodgdon was our broker when we bought our 2018 Lagoon 450F in Antigua in April 2922. He provided great service and was very attentive to our needs. We would highly recommend Andrew and the Multihull Company.
Successful relationships cannot exist without it. At The Multihull Company we base every relationship on a firm commitment to earning and retaining our client’s trust.
Advice of any kind is valuable only when grounded in hard-won expertise. It too, must be trustworthy. Trust and expertise define the heart and soul of The Multihull Company. We are a team of skilled professionals who thrive on providing expert, trustworthy advice and service to catamaran and trimaran sailors around the globe.
