About

1994 Wauquiez Kronos 45 "Katmandu"was purchased from charter company in 2008. She was then taken to Aikane yard in Trinidad, stripped to the bare hull, completely rebuilt and was re-launched in 2011.All new systems were installed, including new Yanmar engines with saildrives. Teak decks were replaced with nida core nonskid.

Her systems have been constantly upgraded. Upgrades in the last 5 years include:

  • New house and starting batteries
  • New inverter charger
  • New motherboards in HVAC units
  • New solar panel smart controllers
  • All new B& G electronics in the last 2 years
  • New reefers, salon and port hull
  • New freezer port hull
