Stimulus was designed by Schionning, Australias leading Catamaran Designers and built in Thailand under Australian Management. Her luxurious owner version layout incorporates an incredibly spacious master suite containing a walk around king size 4 poster bed, 200 degree sea views, his and hers master bathrooms, abundant wardrobe space and a private electric reclining lounge.
Complimenting the master suite perfectly is the attached aft deck chill zone replete with 4 person spa bath, deck shower, sun chairs, picnic table and BBQ. In fact the owners level includes so many amenities and such space that its more reminiscent of a luxury seaside penthouse apartment than a pleasure yacht. Yet this is only one of 3 levels on this remarkable vessel.
Walk downstairs into the saloon and you are greeted by an eye catching built in cocktail bar and a well appointed gourmet kitchen. Kick back on the spacious forward lounges or sip away at the 4 person coffee table or perhaps enjoy a fine dining experience with up to 9 friends at the master dining table.
The hulls incorporate 2 x twin and 2 x double queen cabins and each is fully equipped with its own private en-suite bathroom. On the fore deck a 10 person lounge is shaded by a 2M x 4M sun sail and on the cabin top a spacious garden lounge is the perfect place to catch some sun on either bean bags or custom designed short chairs.
For the energetic, Stimulus is packed with the ultimate array of yacht toys including a 10 meter water slide, kayaks, Stand up Paddle Boards, Floating Trampoline, banana boats, Wake Boarding, Snorkeling, Fishing and a diving board. I bought a yacht that I had never seen. I did this because I trusted my broker Andrew Holland. It was not an easy job for Andrew, as I am an experienced boat builder and owner of previous yachts, but work in West Africa. Imagine how hard it was to communicate what I was looking for. Andrew came up with exactly what I wanted. He dealt with time delays, all my questions at odd hours, and was there for the survey. He reported honestly and professionally. After buying the yacht, I arrived at the boat on a Sunday night, after dark, after travelling from West Africa to the Caribbean, and found it was better than expected. He never pulled punches and made me aware of shortfalls. I expected to spend my one month leave working on the boat, but actually spent less than one week, and was able to spend 3 weeks sailing – wonderful bonus.
