(For a comprehensive 40 minute Video Walkthrough please return to this listing on your laptop or desktop)

Priced to sell - Calacoto is a 2023 Royal Cape Majestic 530 — a robust, powerful, and beautifully executed bluewater sailing catamaran built for true independence at sea. (with Real wood finishes)

Constructed in South Africa and launched in late 2023, she successfully completed her transatlantic voyage before being imported and fully U.S. duty paid. Now lying in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Calacoto stands as a rare opportunity to step aboard a virtually new, ocean-proven catamaran that’s ready for immediate adventure.

Fitted with upgraded twin 110 HP Yanmar diesel engines, a Kohler 11 kVA generator, and a Victron-managed 6,400-watt RETRACTABLE solar array (16 solar controllers) feeding a 1,200 Ah lithium battery bank (24V) With an 8000watt Victron Inverter she delivers outstanding range, reliability, and comfort both underway and at anchor. She also has dual voltage 110/220 ac for circumnavigations.

Her experienced owners designed Calacoto to live entirely off-grid — able to provision for months without returning to shore. The result is a vessel unlike any other in her class, with 11 cold-storage units (some commercial), ice maker, dual wine coolers and UV-purified drinking water throughout.

This yacht has been thoughtfully equipped and is now offered in truly turn-key condition.

Be sure to watch the full 40 minute walkthrough video to appreciate the scale, finish, and exceptional level of detail that sets Calacoto apart.

Calacato is loaded with tools, spares, equipment and inventory. She also has a large sail array from downwind sails to an electric furling screecher sail. Her fuel and water carrying capacity is in the top range of her class. The Duty alone on a new vessel would be USD $300,000 which is already included on this purchase and will assist with future resale in US waters.

Safety

Safety has always been a cornerstone of the Majestic design philosophy, and Calacoto continues that tradition with thoughtful engineering and robust construction throughout. Every feature on board reflects a commitment to offshore security and ease of movement in challenging conditions.

Her solid stainless-steel safety rails and three-foot-wide flat walkways provide exceptional security and confidence when moving forward underway. Integrated seating along the side decks, coupled with ample grab rails, ensures both comfort and stability for crew and guests in all sea states.

For added offshore assurance, safety lines are strategically positioned along the deck to allow crew members to clip in harnesses during heavy weather, while the helm station is protected by a reinforced bulkhead and located for excellent visibility and communication with the cockpit and deck.

The rigging is engineered for strength and redundancy, featuring an inner forestay and dual outer stays for maximum structural integrity under sail.

Below deck, each engine bay is externally accessed and carefully designed to be secure, spacious, and serviceable, allowing for safe maintenance even in following seas.

We take pride in our happy customers

The brokerage team has been amazing. They helped me find the right catamaran for our family of four, with enough space for extended family and friends to stay with us anytime. The broker really helped me narrow down what I needed. I started with a long list and eventually narrowed it down to something that was the right fit and price for me.

— Adam Munder

Our broker Mike Rybas was excellent – great experience!

I cannot speak too highly of Andrew Hodgdon and his colleagues at the Multihull Company.

The process of selling my boat was very smooth and well managed and with excellent communication – especially important as I was unable to be nearby during the sale process. Andrew’s deep knowledge of the market and my boat was very reassuring. We spoke regularly and he kept me closely advised all the way through to a happy sale. I found him a good guy, very helpful, willing to share and bounce ideas around, and I enjoyed working with him. Highly recommended!

— Allan Morrison

Andrew Hodgdon and The Multihull Company are really professional! I just closed a deal with them, and everything was pretty smooth. Andrew was punctual, showed a lot of expertise, and he was honest about all the problems with the boat. He is also giving me the support I need to run all the projects on this boat. This whole process was much better than I was expecting, and I recommend this team! Thank you, Andrew.

— Gustavo Machado

The multihull company, specifically Andrew Hodgson worked with me in the sale of Gods Grace, a 50’ Voyage 500. They made sure that as many people as possible touched it, laid hands on it, ultimately resulting in a offer and sale and was extremely helpful in the prep and sale process as I did not live locally… If you want to make sure that people actually see your vessel, will be honest and truly assist you in the sale, Andrew is the man for the job.
