About

Exclusively listed with The Marina Brokerage, we are proud to present this exceptional Scott Robson designed Power Catamaran and professionally built by Icon Custom Boats.

Launched in 2013 and one owner since NEW, Cabo has to be one of the most seriously innovative power cat's built. Designed as a true entertainer with comfort and performance to match.

The cleverly designed Alloy hulls combined with the advanced technology of twin Volvo D6 330hp engines through Stern Drives, Cabo can cruise around 26 knots @ 3200 rpm consuming approx. 100 L/h for both engines. With over 1200L fuel capacity Cabo has an impressive range at approx. 4L p/nm giving you the option for extended cruising.

Upon entry onto the large transom and stepping into the cockpit you cannot help but be impressed by the space and overall layout. The open plan design of the cockpit offers a fantastic platform to  entertain friends and family.

A nicely equipped bar just in front of the galley is setup with an Electric BBQ and includes a large fridge and seperate freezer. The L shaped settees with tables on both sides hinge up to access the engine compartments when required. A near new sun shade with full canvas and clear enclosures make the large cockpit more flexible and protected in all weather conditions.

The hopper window and large opening door provides a welcoming connection between the cockpit and saloon. The saloon is well laid out with plenty of light and ventilation, the U-shape dinette provides plenty of seating and a table that can convert into another berth if required. A very generous L-shaped corian top galley to Port offers a huge food prep area and also functions as a natural buffet servery in the cockpit for entertaining guests.

Forward are access steps either side down to the accommodation areas in the hulls and the steps leading forward to the open fore deck area. The accommodation layout is reasonably simple, with a double berth amidships in each hull and a large ensuite with walk-in shower on the port side only. The same space in the opposite sponson is a utility and storage room. The berths are full-size doubles and the cabins both have good of storage. All lockers are cedar lined and all construction surfaces are covered with stitched vinyl so there is no bare alloy exposed.

With its unique open bow layout, access is via a wide opening hatch in the centre of the windscreen or around the side decks. With a forward fold-down set of stairs for ease of access to beaches. Operated by a simple electric winch and pulley system, the steps can be adjusted to whatever height is required. When closed, the steps blend into the natural hull lines and are both double locked and fully sealed so they don’t leak. This adds yet another innovative perspective to the whole layout.

Stairs from the cockpit provide easy and safe access to the composite Flybridge where there’s no shortage of comfortable seating, with an L-shaped settee and where the helm is situated centrally and offers fantastic visibility.  The helm is well laid out and equipped, with all controls and switches in easy reach of the skipper.

Cabo is ready to go having been very well maintained and serviced. The perfect entertainer as well as a diving and fishing adventurer. She'll provide a fantastic platform to watch and entertain guest during the upcoming NZ SailGP and future Americas Cup's :)

Your team delivered on every mark. You’ve got an amazing broker in Mark Wattrus and I’m confident you will have continued success moving forward together. He was available 24/7 whenever I had questions. We had a great initial visit on the boat and his marketing plan and photos were superb

— Jimmy

I bought a yacht that I had never seen. I did this because I trusted my broker Andrew Holland. It was not an easy job for Andrew, as I am an experienced boat builder and owner of previous yachts, but work in West Africa. Imagine how hard it was to communicate what I was looking for. Andrew came up with exactly what I wanted. He dealt with time delays, all my questions at odd hours, and was there for the survey. He reported honestly and professionally. After buying the yacht, I arrived at the boat on a Sunday night, after dark, after travelling from West Africa to the Caribbean, and found it was better than expected. He never pulled punches and made me aware of shortfalls. I expected to spend my one month leave working on the boat, but actually spent less than one week, and was able to spend 3 weeks sailing – wonderful bonus.

Thank you Andrew for putting up with all my questions, all my worries and all my crazy out of the time zone concerns – you were totally professional, but also I know that if and when we meet up, it will be like a friend finally meeting. You are always welcome on Aseka.

Outstanding company with professional subject matter experts. If I were to buy or sell cruising sailboat, particularly a catamaran, Andrew would be my go to broker.

— JT

I have been sailing since I was a child and attended Massachusetts Maritime Academy. But when my wife and I began the process of purchasing an ocean cruising/racing catamaran, I realized that this is a world unto itself. Obviously, we needed to find someone knowledgeable to help us make an informed decision. More importantly, we needed someone honest and willing to put our interests before his or her own. I was lucky to work with Phil Berman at The Multihull Company. He repeatedly shunned the fast buck, choosing instead to work the long road to connect us with the “perfect boat”. I would be glad to recommend Phil and his company to anyone planning to purchase or sell a performance sailing machine.

— Eric Boutiette

Andrew Hodgdon was our broker when we bought our 2018 Lagoon 450F in Antigua in April 2922. He provided great service and was very attentive to our needs. We would highly recommend Andrew and the Multihull Company.
