Engines
A pair of Yanmar 3-cylinder diesel engines with 3-bladed feathering propellors provide for a comfortable motoring speed of 8.5 kts under engine, or 9.7 kts while motor-sailing. Coupled with a fuel capacity of up to 156 gallons the boat has a motoring range of 750-900 nm.
DC Electrical Power
The primary house bank is composed of (2) Lithionics 150AH 24v batteries with an advanced dual-channel battery management system. Each engine has a 175ah 24v alternator, and when combined both engines can charge the house bank in under an hour. Additionally, there are 8 Solbian ultra-thin solar panels totaling 680 watts.
AC Electrical Power
Fujin includes a Victron Multiplus 2000w battery charger/inverter to supply AC power throughout the vessel. The AC is controlled using the CZone digital switching network and there are outlets located conveniently throughout the vessel.
Environmental
Fujin includes a 16,000btu DC Dual Mode HVAC system. The unit is ultra-efficient using a variable frequency compressor to ensure optimum performance. The system can direct conditioned air to any of the 3 cabins and at moderate temperatures uses approx. 18 amps of power.
Instrumentation
A full set of B&G H5000 racing instruments is on board. This “performance” level system has 7 dedicated displays for the different trimmers, driver and tactician ensuring that people have just the right information available to perform at their best. Besides wind, speed, and position information, advanced information such as sheet loads, tack loads, and optimum performance is displayed and recorded. This data is also available over an internal wifi network for use by phone and tablet apps, as well as an integrated Dell PC running navigation and performance management software.
Fresh Water
Fujin includes an integrated Spectra Ventura 150 watermaker and dual 22-gallon freshwater tanks. Water can be sent to either tank via the CZone control system.
Digital Switching
To reduce weight and improve convenience, Fujin uses a digital switching system for non-critical systems. Many complex tasks are easily accomplished via graphic touchscreen systems in each cabin.
Communications
Fujin utilizes a B&G V90 VHF radio & B&G AIS for terrestrial communications, and a Thales Vesselink 750kbps satellite and cellular communications system.
Galley
Fujin’s fully equipped galley includes a dedicated DC refrigerator, a DC Freezer, a 2-position inductive cooktop, and a combination microwave/convection oven with air fryer. There is enough equipment to comfortably cruise with 6 people.
Mast/Rigging
Featuring a Lorima carbon fiber rotating mast and boom. Winches are all electric. Custom, carbon longeron with hydraulic tack lines. Curved c-daggerboards and t-rudders to create lift and dampen pitch for a smoother, faster, safer ride.

I bought a yacht that I had never seen. I did this because I trusted my broker Andrew Holland. It was not an easy job for Andrew, as I am an experienced boat builder and owner of previous yachts, but work in West Africa. Imagine how hard it was to communicate what I was looking for. Andrew came up with exactly what I wanted. He dealt with time delays, all my questions at odd hours, and was there for the survey. He reported honestly and professionally. After buying the yacht, I arrived at the boat on a Sunday night, after dark, after travelling from West Africa to the Caribbean, and found it was better than expected. He never pulled punches and made me aware of shortfalls. I expected to spend my one month leave working on the boat, but actually spent less than one week, and was able to spend 3 weeks sailing – wonderful bonus.
