About This Boat

The Fountaine Pajot Lavezzi 40 is one of the swiftest sailing cats in its class. With only 6.2
tons of displacement and 95 sqm of sail area, the Lavezzi sails exceptionally well. With the folding propellers on this boat, you can reach 10 knots+ through the water. A Parasailor (90 sqm) offers easy handling for long trade wind passages.

This Lavezzi 40 is privately owned, has never chartered and is fully equipped for long term cruising. It has been extensively upgraded over the last two years. See the attached list.

The highlight on this boat is the solar-powered electric system, which offers the use of electricity as on land. The 1,46 kW of solar panels are combined with two big LiOnFe batteries and 220/110 voltage inverters/chargers from Victron Energy. You can run all types of electronic devices with up to 2000 Watts on board. 220 voltage is available in each cabin and the salon using the original
installation from Fountaine Pajot.

The Lavezzi 40 catamaran has the same hull as the Lipari 41 and Lucia 40. A much more profiled coachroof on the Lavezzi saves approximately 2 tons of weight overall. The Bimini on the Lavezzi 40 is very lightweight and offers a walkable area to work on the mainsail. And the three solar panels on the top of the bimini provide extra rain protection.

This cat is equipped with electronics from Raymarine. the bottom warranty was completed last year. There is an e-Series chart plotter (Hybrid Touch), active AIS and radar. There is also a water maker which produces 100 liters/hour fresh water. Extra water tap with filter allows you to drink water directly from the tank. A freezer (in addition to the refrigerator) and small dishwasher round out the amenities.

The catamaran is hauled out in Saint Martin, ready for a sea trial. Give us a call to arrange a showing or for more photos.
