This is a beautiful owner version of the celebrated Catana 471. The consummate blue water, performance cat: very high freeboard and bridgedeck clearance for comfortable, safe offshore work; dagger-boards for windward performance; carbon rig with stainless shrouds and forestay for reliability; a high-tech hull constructed of PVC foam core/vynilester resin with carbon and kevlar reinforcements provides the ideal combination of stiffness, strength and light weight.

The sail inventory includes a screecher, genoa and two spinnakers. The rod headstay was replaced in September 2020.

This yacht features 110V and 12V systems and equipment. A large solar array and large alternators power the amenities on board including a large watermaker, washer/dryer. Onboard electronics feature an ICOM SSB/Pactor Modem, Satphone, radar, and two flatscreen TVs.
