Virgin Fire is a legendary trimaran built at Gold Coast Yachts. The boat is large, simple, powerful, easy to sail, and very fast. I have been lucky enough to sail this boat off and on for many years, and have just been so impressed with it. I remember being in Boston, going out to the start of a big open 60 race, leaving the dock with all the press people and photographers aboard, and getting a puff of wind, and watching the boat jump to 19 knots. The race started, and we gave chase to the fleet, immediately passing all of them. The sailors aboard those open 60's just sort of blankly stared as we went flying past...
In any case, this boat is simple and comfortable, and for a sailing purest, this is a boat that will do 300 miles a day, no engines needed. It will take you anywhere in the world, and for a great price.
The boat is really well maintained, a new engine a few years back, new dyneema shrouds, it needs nothing.
