For those who navigate to discover the beauty of the
Caribbean, Multihulls Guadeloupe at the Marina Bas-du-Fort is located halfway
between Martinique and Saint Martin and is known as the hub of the West Indies.
Like all of our bases, we went out of our way on
Guadeloupe to avoid the crowed city of Pointe-à-Pitre so that our guests could
spend a quiet night on their boat in a lovely marina. Our base in Marina Bas du
Fort provides just enough seclusion and privacy to our guests while still being
within walking distance to nearby docks and piers loaded with trendy shops,
restaurants, jazz and piano bars. Base manager, Frederic Viarouge, a 30-year old native of
St. Malo who grew up in the ambiance of famous skippers and the Route du Rhum
boat race will be there to help you Having spent two years as the technical manager with
Beneteau, Mr. Viarouge then decided to live in the Caribbean and turned his
attention to managing the Multihull Guadeloupe base where visitors can take
advantage of his technical knowledge as well as his experiences sailing in the
Caribbean. |
