Sud Composites Switch Grand Sud

Sud Composites Switch Grand Sud

This is the "Grand Sud 40" model with extended transoms, built in 1994 by the shipyard "Sud Composite", Balaruc les Bains, France, the original builder of the Switch catamarans. The design is by the French naval architect Daniel Tortarolo. Built in glass/epoxy over plywood (under vacuum). The boat has been in the water since 1997.
She was bought by her present owners in 1998.
A permanent master is placed on board and she does occasional chartering.
The catamaran is currently in Panama (San Blas).
The catamaran is constantly maintained and in good working condition. Complete refit in 2011.

This catamaran is fast and light, equiped for onboard living, well maintained.
The bow is equiped with a cockpit instead of the traditional trampoline.
The bow cabins are very spacious and the bow lockers can be used as storage containers.
