The Safari 50 was, for the most part, designed to serve as a super high performance day charter cat for Cape Town - taking out tourists on super high speed day sails. She is therefore modestly finished inside, super light, and lightening fast. The right buyer for her is either someone who wants to use her for day charter outside US waters, or who wants to take her and make her a spartan super high speed voyager with a bit of interior modification. She is very well built, light, and super strong. To learn more about her, contact Phil at TMC. I have inspected her while under construction in Cape Town and she is owned by a friend. If you click on the link below you can read an entire story about this yacht and a test of her by Multihulls World magazine. It is a very informative story that explains why I think she can remain a day charter cat or get modified for the super high performance minded voyager. |
