Sold - Privilege - “ToJoe”

To Joe is the cleanest used Privilege 42 on the market - I am sure of this. I inspected her myself in Trinidad and found her to be in excellent condition both mechanically and cosmetically. She was purchased new in 1996 and brought to Spain by her first owners, who never placed her in charter and seldom sailed her. She was purchased two years ago by a German couple who set her up for distance voyaging by loading her up with a wide array of solar panels, water maker, SS, EPIRB, and a total refit of everything that wasn't in their view in perfect condition. Her interior woodwork is almost scratch free. I spotted just three imperfections in the boat, and they are minor - a tiny bit of water damage to a small portion of headliner in her aft port hull, a little bit of crazing on the lexan on a few overhead hatches, and the overhead hatch on the port side, aft, was removed so that a washer/drawer could be installed and was not replaced with a proper hatch. Owner plans to do so as soon as he can order one. That is it. These are the only minor things I could spot on the boat that keep her from being a perfect "10."

To Joe is headed North now, up the Caribbean and toward the U.S. I urged her owners to enjoy themselves and told them that we would gladly arrange showings at any location along the way for serious buyers.
