Salarn was ordered new by a Canadian couple from the PDQ factory in Toronto, launched in 2007, totally outfitted for serious distance voyaging, and then....well, set out to do what she was meant to do. She has voyaged the US East Coast and all over the Med, and is currently cruising in Turkish waters. Our Turkish agent is ready to show her to any serious buyer with just a few days notice. I think it is vital to understand this is a real PDQ Antares, one of the last ones built before the factory shut down in the economic crisis. She was built at the same storied shipyard that launched the PDQ 32, 36, 42, and 44, as well as the PDQ powercat. She is a real yacht, finished to a yacht grade standard, with all of the fine finish work and quality construction PDQ was famed for. There are not many of these late model Antares around, and for those who are attracted to the PDQ layout and finish, finding a superb late model factory built boat is a dream come true. It is an even better dream to find an Antares in Turkey, one of the finest cruising grounds in the world. A buyer could hop on her, sail the Med, and then take the fun downhill slide all the way back to the Carribean on strong easterly trades. To learn all about this fine yacht, or to organize a personal inspection, just give us a call. She is pretty much ready to set sail at any time for just about anywhere you an imagine.
